Hello there, I'm looking for a rims with spec: 17", 8-8.5jj, 30ET to fit my current tyre (R17/45/225) on a Honda Civic FD2.

Do you have any recommendation? I'm looking for a dark gold or matt black colored rims. Also the lesser the spokes the better.

Just got my rims changed smile.gif
Was first disappointed cause the rims I'm looking for is out of stock (I was looking for 17x8 CE28)
But thanks to Ah Seng's suggestion, I went for 17x9 ET25 and I totally love it!
Very very happy with the service and the friendly staffs there especially Ah Seng!

Here's the picture to show support! biggrin.gif

Thanks bro!

It's a CE28. ET25 is the rim's offset. (Our stock rims is ET45)
I am not very good at explaining offset so maybe you can google it lol.

The rims itself is RM1350 (Very cheap!) and I traded mine in for RM400.
So around RM950 something smile.gif

Well, that's how we learn biggrin.gif
Keep in mind that the offset (ET) and the width (JJ) is one very important aspect to consider about when buying rims because it directly affect the quality vs stylishness of your ride. nod.gif
For example, the lower the number of the offset or the wider the JJ, the better your ride will look. But at the same time, your ride quality will suffer because the wheel/tyre may hit the fender. So yeah, something to consider about when you are buying rims.

what size of tyre suite to this rims? 215/45/17?
weight of this rims?mine is stock fd1..~9kg(refer from 8gcc forum)..hopefully this rims is light than stock one.

Well I'm using 225/45/R17 and it seems to be fine, no fender rubbing or scrapping thus far. But I was alone in the car lol. Though it is commonly accepted if you do anything out of the spec, you run the risk of tyre rubbing/scrapping when your car is on load with passengers etc. You can resolve this problem by installing adjustible suspension but that's going to sacrifice the comfort.

215 should be able to fit 9JJ alright but the side wall will look more stretched than my 225 as seen on the picture. But yeah, I might actually go back to 215 next time I change my tyre because it may reduce the problem of tyre rubbing.

I'm not too sure about the weight though, maybe you should ask here biggrin.gif
