QUOTE(OnlyLeatherBag @ Dec 29 2012, 07:14 PM)
I bought a 32" Panasonic LCD TV from Lazada.com on 22/12/2012 and requested to ship to Kota Kinabalu. Today I received my LCD TV in a good condition via GD-Express. I don't understand why there is so many negative feedback about Lazada.com. Maybe I am considered a lucky customer or Lazada has improved their service?

However, I would like to emphasise here is shouldn't we Malaysian give support to our home-grown setup online companies in order to make Malaysia a better place or more advanced in e-commerce industry? Look at UK, USA or even China, these countries are so advanced in their e-commerce services which benefited their residents for online shopping.

Last but not least, I don't represent Lazada.com. If anyone would like to challenge my words to support Lazada I can produce receipt from Lazada, shipping status from GD-Express, signed consignment note and even the images of my 32" LCD TV I bought.

Hello, it's been 3 years since you posted this and I'm not sure if you're still hanging around this website or not but I'm just going to give you my opinion.

Yes, we should support Malaysia trying to make a better e-commerce experience for the people, and any form of home-grown setup online companies from Malaysia is always a welcome! thumbup.gif

Malaysians can buy items without much hassle, and we won't have to order from other countries, which means items will be much cheaper, and we save a lot of time and gas. rclxms.gif

The problem, however, lies entirely elsewhere. It's their service. Their dedication. Their responsibility. That are making the experience for their customers utterly horrible and leaves an unsatisfying taste in their mouths. I don't know much about e-commerce but I do know a bad customer service when I see one. All these complaints, their not baseless, they're just really frustrated because the platform they trusted has failed to uphold their promise. This is already bordering as a sort of scam to be honest. mellow.gif

My dad has bought items from LAZADA before, and he told me he was quite satisfied with the items, but it's because he was careful with his purchase and he did some checking before deciding. I trust my dad on this one, and went ahead to purchase a NOTE 3 LTE with his help. Ironically, after 6 days, we got an email saying the item was out of stock and they will be refunding my money. It took them around 3-4 days to refund.

I was indifferent to it, there's bound to be a few problems from either the supplier, the company or the delivery when making online purchases. However, it left a really really bad first experience for me, and I don't even know if I should just go straight to the supplier and ask questions about my order being out of stock so last minute. (the supplier is actually very near my house, kota damansara)

I made online orders from the USA before, a Kickstarter project. And to be quite honest, the package arrived earlier than I was expeccted. I was so excited and happy since I noticed the package right after school. That, is what I call an enjoyable customer experience. Something Malaysia companies should work harder on, be more attentive to your customers, take these things more seriously, because we are TRUSTING YOU TO DELIVER OUR ORDERS TO US. Also, follow ups are always important, be it suppliers or customers.

Anyhow, I am giving LAZADA a second chance, since some said it's the delivery that's a problem, the items are actually quite okay. Let's hope I get what I purhased. nod.gif

Well, it's still safer to actually be able to inspect the products before you buy them. Online purchases may be quick and saves time, but the risks are higher because of immoral suppliers and unprofessional customer services.
