Hi guys, just tried this game out yesterday, went through the tutorial, reached the lobby, like it thus far.

Have a lot of questions: (I already read the links at the first post, btw)
1) I see Mirage bullet, Jellen bullet, etc...also see Shock effect...exactly what does these effects do?

2) I notice that, if I don't skip the conversations/cut-scene quick enough, I will be DC'ed. I never get DC'ed halfway in the battle or when I am controlling my character, it only happen during cutscene, and only realized that I am DC'ed after the cutscenes/conversation is finished.
Thanks to this problem, I had to redo the tutorial for like 3 times, because I get DC'ed listening slowly and carefully to all conversation/cut-scene. I had to use the skip cutscene function to finally get through the tutorial. This is very frustrating, is there anyone else with the same problem? Anyway to make the sever know that I am reading/watching cutscene so that it won't disconnect me?

3) I wish to try out all classes, but I can only have 1 character without buying cashshop. Any reason I should buy that cashshop ticket, instead of just using different email accounts to have more characters?

4) It seems that each character can have 1 main class 1 sub class...but what's the difference? Can I switch between them? Or can I "delete" subclass and change to a different one?

Please help a newbie out, thanks!

2) if your connection no good is best to skip the cut scene

3)if you got many time to spend, is worth to buy another character slot. if you don't have time to play is better t stick on one character.

4)you can change main class and subclass suit your play style, the main thing for main+sub is get 5% I think sub class adding up your character start such as s-atk, r-atk and more. also in example if you was hunter sub class range when go solo boss you can switch weapon to riffle to weak bullet at boss and then change back to sword to defeat the boss with ease.
*
2) So...no one else experiencing this issue except me? How come I never get DC'ed during combat or controlling character, only during long cutscene/conversation? I really suspect there's some timer that will automatic DC if player did not press any button within certain time.

3) It's not really about time or money...I just want to try out different classes. If someday I got bored playing one class, I switch to playing the other, and switch back, and so on...just for fun. The time isn't wasted, as long as I am having fun. Reason I ask: what's the benefit of having all my characters in one account, instead of separate? Since I have many email accounts, I can just create many accounts and create 1 char in each account. But, if there's some benefit/reason I should create them in one account, then perhaps I would want to buy that ticket.
Example: Perhaps you cannot mail/transfer item if to characters of different account? This can be a good reason, because otherwise you will need to rely on someone else to do transfer for you, or do multi-client (not even sure if that's possible), or blah blah blah indirect ways that has risk.
So...short question: Any benefit of having multiple characters in same account?

4) Ok, thanks for info, but does that mean I can change sub-class anytime?
What is the cost of changing sub-class? Example, right now I am Hunter/Gunner, can I switch to Hunter/Wizard? What will happen to the Gunner? If I change back to Hunter/Gunner from Hunter/Wizard, does that mean my Gunner start from level 1 again?
And since I am able to switch between main and sub class (so main -> sub, and sub -> main), does that mean I can play all classes with just 1 character?

BTW, anyone with answer to #1?

2) internet time out either you idle too long or connection no so stable when in cut scene, that happen to anyone. it happen to me too when playing jp when it 1st out in 2012

3)all character in same account share same storage item include meseta save in bank, can play other race not limit just one.

4)as mention you can, these class still remain unchanged there no reset to lv 1. one note to remind u need weapon which is all class weapon able to used for sub class

Wow, this game is so much fun, so many features, so much to learn!
Several things I really like about it:
- One character can play all classes and switch between them, no more alts!
- Autochat with "/ci# # Text" is quite cool and useful!
- Those Free Partners, AI with different personalities, great feature!

Few more questions:
1) What's the max level right now? What is the "soft" max level? Like, the level after which you don't get any more skill point or stat or etc?

2) What's the max skill point? I read that some skill point comes through quest? Any guide to getting all skill points?

3) Anyway to increase inventory size? (Not the store 200 one, I mean the character's 50 one) What's the maximum inventory size I can get without cash shop? What's the max inventory size I can get through cash shop? How much it costs in RM to get max inventory size through cash shop? Do I spend once or it's like renting I have to pay every month?

4) I see something called Signal Art? I played with it a bit, but I am no art major and see there's an import feature...anyone know where I can get some good signal arts to import?

5) Any guide on earning meseta? I failed a bunch of item upgrades trying to finish some client order, and I am broke now sad.gif

6) I see there are many client order, daily order, quest, Ark Road, etc...but are these enough to get all classes to "soft" max level? What's the fastest way to gain exp?

Lastly, any guild in Ship1?

do the Time Attack quest to earn quick meseta.
btw how do you got broke trying to upgrade for client order? this is the earlier order by Jan right? just need 1 lvl of upgrade for this and i never heard anyone failed yet.
*
Yes, it's the client order by Jan. And yea, tell me about it, the success rate stated is 80%....EIGHTY PERCENT!! EIGHT. ZERO. PERCENT!!!! And I failed 3 times in a row.

EDIT: Sorry, when I say "upgrade", I don't mean the one that makes it +1 +2, I mean "Augmentation"...

Hmm...haven't receive any Time Attack quest, I got to level 7 yesterday. Guess I'll get it when I am high level enough?
Thanks for helping out, do you happen to have some info for other questions too?

What really bothers me is...for all 3 days I am playing, every time I get DC'ed, it is AFTER I finish reading/watching some scripted cutscenes...EVERYTIME. It's never during battle or when my character is moving around...it's ALWAYS after cutscene...

Most likely, it's either:
1) The server automatically disconnect anyone idling for too long.
2) The client automatically disconnect when it detects no action from user. (I tried keep tapping [Enter], clicking mouses and blah blah blah, but doesn't seem to work.)

I also read from forum that someone complains about "Another application forced it to close"...so maybe GameGuard? Don't know...but I really hate the rate of DC, it makes me have to redo many quests many times...and everytime it's because there's some long cutscene at the end, and I really don't want to miss any storyline...

Stupid design.

Hi guys, I have a lot of items which I have no idea what's the purpose/use of it, and they are taking up inventory spaces:
- Galph Clow
- Phongalph Fang
- Garongo Shell (I have completed the client order, not sure why it's still here)
- Agnis Feather
- Small Yellow Flower
- Phongalph Spike

They all have the same item icon that looks like a hexagon crystal with a solid band around the middle, goldish-brown color.

What are those for?

But...all the quests involves them are already done...so why they are still in inventory and taking up space? What should I do with them? Sell them?

Hmm...usually, at what level I should start worrying about upgrading/augmenting my weapons and armors?

I have a lot of lower level weapons and armors taking up spaces, they have stuff like "Spirit I" "Power I" and etc on them...not sure if I should keep those?

Hi guys, reached level 4/4/15 today, I have some more questions:

1) What's the best way to earn X-Cube, Arks Badge and Photon Sphere?

2) I see that there's an NPC on the 2nd floor of the lobby shopping area selling items that says it can override Photon Blast. Am I mistaken or is it for real? Does that mean I can have a lv30/100 melee mag with lv30/100 tech mag's Photon Blast? Maybe even lv30 melee mag with lv100 tech mag's Photon Blast?

3) Charged 30k AC, bought max inventory, left about 16k, what other stuff are worth spending AC? Where do you guys usually spend your AC?

4) I really like the combat and gameplay aspect of this game, and I wish to level ALL classes. Anyone else doing that? Because I need some advice on things like:
- best to level all of them together? or I should focus level one class first?
- inventory spaces...what items should I keep and what could I just sell? I have a lot of low level weapon/armor with some good attributes, not sure what I should do with them...if I am say, level 50, will I still get good drops of lv5 if I farm a lv5 map?

Please help brainstorm and advice, thanks smile.gif

Seriously I had enough of this...I can AFK for long time without getting DC, I never get DC in the middle of fight or when actively running in maps...but once I start watching/reading cut-scenes like those in the Story quests, I'll get DC after finish cutscene...I had to redo Story quest like 3 times because of this.

Anyone has any solution to stop getting DC during long cutscenes?

Hmm...sorry guys, maybe this is a dumb question, but I wish to dye my armor, and I find an item at Recycle Shop, but it needs AC Scratch Ticket...

Question 1:
Buy AC Scratch Ticket and exchange for that item, is this the only way to dye my Armor?

Question 2:
Anyway to mail/transfer item between character?

A2 character storage is share another character as long as they are in same account, if you got another character in another account it will be need to spend AC  for trade (if you using two PC for 2 different account online)
*
Wow what?????!!!!! Trading between characters need AC???

So, if I play with my friend, and I picked up a rare item which I wish to gift my friend, my friend and I have to pay AC????!!! That's outrageous, I have never seen any other MMO which charge real money for trading between player...Is this unique to SEA? or JP also?

Most importantly: How much?

Let's say I play with my friend Bob.
I have some AC left after buying inventory slots and etc, but my friend Bob never have any AC.

Now, I picked up a nice weapon, that I wish to gift to Bob.
How much will I get charged in terms of AC? How about my friend Bob? If he doesn't have any AC, is it still possible for him to receive item from me (who has AC)?

doh.gif when you used premium , u got trade free of charge already, but your friend need to be buying AC and spend to buy 30 days (at least) of premium to used trade system.
*
I didn't buy the premium set, only bought the max inventory size and 3 mags (total 4 mags for 4 diff stat), still have some AC left, but my friend isn't paying yet.
So no, even I myself does not have the trade permit.

From the way you explain, it seems like it's not a per-item AC charge, but more like "buy a 30 days permit and you can trade for 30 days".

Anyway for me to give item to my friend who's not paying? If not, guess he'll have to wait until get some trader permit from FUN scratch...Is this the only way?

there no way to trade unless both got premium, also having 3 day rental my shop doesn't give you trade function. that how the gameplay is as same for jp. so either you tell your friend to hunt for the rare. just like me I don't spend any AC to be premium but I get rare item from hunting so not a problem.
*
How about this:
1) Both me and my friend get 3 day rental shop.
2) I put up that rare item for sale, with highest mesata my friend have.
3) My friend bought it off my shop, then put up a Health Drink for the same meseta.
4) I buy the Health Drink, so meseta gets back to my friend.

Will this work? And since trading already cost AC, I assume SEGA won't be so greedy until even item sold through shop will be taxed, right? So there will be no meseta lost through this process....right?

well your example will work if your friend buy it fast (browse My shop list to look for your shop) enough before other player notice it , since there are many player have lot of meseta beside your friend does. U playing a A$ia$oft game, Sega Japan doesn't care about what A$ia$oft greedy do for SEA player.
*
I would love to play on JP server, but...

What I like:
+ More updated contents
+ Most likely better community too

But what I really dislike:
- IP Ban, thus need VPN...don't want to spend for that, neither want to be bother with it.
- Possibly lag without VPN, which diminishes the GAMEPLAY (the foremost reason I play this game).
- Now there's IP Ban...hard to tell what will happen in the future. Example: Vindictus/TERA will even ban account if found that you are not from proper region.

I understand a lot of people play in JP mostly because more updated content, but to me, SEA version which is lagging behind content-wise could be a benefit: you know what to expect in the future, and can be better prepared for it when it comes.
Example, right now, other than SATK, RATK, and TAK mags, I am also raising a full DEX mags in anticipation for Braver class.

So, I'll have to settle with SEA version. So far, I don't have much to complain (except the AC...but since it's the same in JP, it's still "fair"), and enjoying the gameplay & mechanics very much.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the help smile.gif

I see that there's in-game announcement about "Have you get what you want from FUN scratch? Coz most of them will be gone with the next update."

What exactly does that mean? What's different from JP?
