Additional 14k for gps,  leather seats,  e adjust driver seat & bi xenon,  choosing mid spec is a no brainer,  unless you have the cash to spare. Looking at face lift cx5 prices,  its the right time to get the mid spec.
*
This is the marketing strategy to beat Honda HRV while waiting for CX-3.
Nice pricing for this mid spec.

Owned this car for > 1 year.CBU with 19" tyres.Odo now  70000km.

1. The aircond cools the interior pretty quick and never had any complaint on that.daytime normally set the temp. around 23c with low fan (2bar).sometime need to adjust the fan even lower (1bar) or put the vent on upward position as rear passanger cannot tahan the cool breeze.

Edit : car tint may contribute on the aircond efficiency.i'm using HuperOptik 40.

2. Fuel highway 100% at 110km/h can get less than 7.5l/100km. Sometime manage to get <7l. city around 8.5l/100km.

So far so good with all the services and performance.only setback is the stock 19" tyre difficult to find & cost quite a lot to replace.

Can i know if there's no free service for labour & parts, what would be the amount charge like for every 10,000km interval?
Thanks.

Test drove the CX-5 today again and I'm absolutely sure that I made the right decision to cancel my HRV booking for this.

Now the problem is if I should get Grey or Silver? White is my fav but diff to maintain
*
Silver easy to maintain.
White have to do coating, but is the best colour.
I took White.

Have you collected your car?

White is a pain to maintain.  Need to clay,  clean and wax every 3 months.  I have a pearl white mazda 6. For the cx5, I am taking meteor gray.
*
Haven't, waiting to sell the old car to pay downpayment.
Yalo, but white is good for me in terms of feng shui,.... haha.. no choice need to jaga a bit..
U got yr car dy?

i checked that windscreen got quality issue and many complains from taiwan owners

https://www.facebook.com/groups/cx5sos/

it easily crack from nowhere and sometimes, just small stone hit also crack...

my myvi windscreen when hit by stone, it will have bull eye instead of long crack...
*
What are those complaints beside windscreen?
Windscreen is covered by insurance, Sky active engine is the main selling point.
If windscreen is your concern, stick to your myvi then.

That windscreen issue is from Taiwan.

This is common issue...not just Taiwan, it affect most cx5 all over the world even Malaysia. Please go refer fb group...if really no issue, then no one will complain...

I drive myvi or whatever car, none of business and i still will share the common issue for this model. Don't like, remove my post or ban me...
*
You can change your windscreen for the first crack. after that don't think there's a need to used back mazda ori winscreen, can always use others. then this issue solved.
This is a good sharing to let the user aware of this safety issue, but not the concern of buying a CX-5.

Feels good driving the car.  Solid and handles like a sedan.  Stock tire noisy.  Have changed to michelin which is softer and quite as compared to the stock tire.
*
Great! how much you trade in the stock tyre and michelin how much per pcs now?

Hi...just booked CX5 GL today...tried to join the fb group MCCM, but after send request now cant search the group....am I banned? Can someone or admin from the group help me to add me...tq so much...had some question....proceed with CX5 coz cancelling my HRV booked before after waiting for past 4 months n still no news....

The ready stock frm SA is 2014 unit...but it has leather seat...its not 2015 unit...is it GL or Medium Spec?

Apologize in advance coz this is my first Mazda purchase after being Honda user for past 20 years...
*
2014 stock? How much discount you get? What i know is there's no more 2014 stock, if is old stock make sure you get the best discount.
Gl spec come with faric, 2014 mid spec come with leather seat if i'm not mistaken.

the unit is 2014 Medium Spec with Leather Seat with no navigation n front sensor i think.....the selling price they gave me for the unit is post GST price which is 129 incl. insurance if i'm not mistaken....but it's a showroom unit....which have some light scratches and hand prints all over here n there....they promise to polish n clean until its like new again...(which not much issue for me...)...its a display unit after all...so its the only last stock 2014 unit they have....they've got another new GL 2015 unit Aluminium Silver ready stock but only 1K rebate....so I take the 2014 one with the good deal offered....  smile.gif

which area u searching? 18' for SUV kinda rare to be found.. 17' easier while 19' consider premium tyre for SUV hence price can reach rm1k/pc
i did found one 18' in Bukit Kemuning Klang area.. but only 1 set available..
*
Just wondering, will 18" or 19" perform better than 17"?

Hi everyone. Bought a brand new CX-5 around 2 months back. Its awesome and feels good driving it. However, I feel my tint (Skytint) provided by my dealer is not dark enough. Any advice if I should proceed to get a brand new tinting for my car?. If yes, which brand and type is recommended?.

Also, is there anyone else that feels the same as I do.

Thanks.

Heat rejection should be considered first, not darkness.
Am Using V-kool, heat rejection is good. getting cold very fast... LOL
