Additional 14k for gps,  leather seats,  e adjust driver seat & bi xenon,  choosing mid spec is a no brainer,  unless you have the cash to spare. Looking at face lift cx5 prices,  its the right time to get the mid spec.

Owned this car for > 1 year.CBU with 19" tyres.Odo now  70000km.

1. The aircond cools the interior pretty quick and never had any complaint on that.daytime normally set the temp. around 23c with low fan (2bar).sometime need to adjust the fan even lower (1bar) or put the vent on upward position as rear passanger cannot tahan the cool breeze.

Edit : car tint may contribute on the aircond efficiency.i'm using HuperOptik 40.

2. Fuel highway 100% at 110km/h can get less than 7.5l/100km. Sometime manage to get <7l. city around 8.5l/100km.

So far so good with all the services and performance.only setback is the stock 19" tyre difficult to find & cost quite a lot to replace.

Test drove the CX-5 today again and I'm absolutely sure that I made the right decision to cancel my HRV booking for this.

Now the problem is if I should get Grey or Silver? White is my fav but diff to maintain

White is a pain to maintain.  Need to clay,  clean and wax every 3 months.  I have a pearl white mazda 6. For the cx5, I am taking meteor gray.

When did you book? Booked mine end March but SA say end of this month.

i checked that windscreen got quality issue and many complains from taiwan owners

it easily crack from nowhere and sometimes, just small stone hit also crack...

my myvi windscreen when hit by stone, it will have bull eye instead of long crack...

Then wishes your windscreen crack few times a year, see your insurance can cover few times or not

Agree with this.. Happen to my CX-5, front windscreen already cracked.. Not sure about insurance cover or not coz no time to check.. Most likely dont have as they never mention about it

This is common issue...not just Taiwan, it affect most cx5 all over the world even Malaysia. Please go refer fb group...if really no issue, then no one will complain...

I drive myvi or whatever car, none of business and i still will share the common issue for this model. Don't like, remove my post or ban me...

Halogen headlamp with manual leveling.

Feels good driving the car.  Solid and handles like a sedan.  Stock tire noisy.  Have changed to michelin which is softer and quite as compared to the stock tire.

The ready stock frm SA is 2014 unit...but it has leather seat...its not 2015 unit...is it GL or Medium Spec?

Apologize in advance coz this is my first Mazda purchase after being Honda user for past 20 years...

the unit is 2014 Medium Spec with Leather Seat with no navigation n front sensor i think.....the selling price they gave me for the unit is post GST price which is 129 incl. insurance if i'm not mistaken....but it's a showroom unit....which have some light scratches and hand prints all over here n there....they promise to polish n clean until its like new again...(which not much issue for me...)...its a display unit after all...so its the only last stock 2014 unit they have....they've got another new GL 2015 unit Aluminium Silver ready stock but only 1K rebate....so I take the 2014 one with the good deal offered.... 

Anyone can share a photos or links to view the differentiate of 2014 mid and 2015 GL (spec and car view)

which area u searching? 18' for SUV kinda rare to be found.. 17' easier while 19' consider premium tyre for SUV hence price can reach rm1k/pc

Hi everyone. Bought a brand new CX-5 around 2 months back. Its awesome and feels good driving it. However, I feel my tint (Skytint) provided by my dealer is not dark enough. Any advice if I should proceed to get a brand new tinting for my car?. If yes, which brand and type is recommended?.

Also, is there anyone else that feels the same as I do.
