They are doing it end of the year. If the CX-5 is priced at RM 145K CKD, that's going to give CRV a serious run for its money

hey guys, just got back from the showroom. rear seats are kinda small sad.gif
ride is well insulated from road and engine noise. gearshifts are super smooth however the moment u hit accelerator pedal to getting engine response is kinda laggy. is it just me? im kinda heavy footed btw.
*
read a lot of reviews praising the rear seat spaciousness. May be your expectation is too high after reading the reviews smile.gif
anyway, this is just a compact suv.

The laggy feel makes mazda gained another awards:

The queuing system only really comes into place for people with the LOU/Cash ready. Otherwise, it doesn't really do anything. Dealer/branch will still release the car to whoever with the LOU/Cash ready.

Regardless, I've decided to go with Llumar T4-50 + 3M HP front/rear. Looking for the best price now brows.gif

wow... not expensive meh? your product, coolermaster not for car? biggrin.gif

after a week, my cx5 reached 800km with avg 9.2 l/100km. this figure could be better if i'm not ascending/descending 120m height uphill/downhill everyday.

How's the acceleration from 0? Which is the best method, step hard on the pedal or gradually to get to the desired acceleration?
*
gradually on normal drive, i had tried stepping hard while overtaking in karak highway; the engine and AT worked perfectly, you get what you wanted.

Anyone have any idea on how to update the TomTom GPS map data? Today mine shows that it is 7mths old and asks to update.
*
take out the SD card and run the exe file (in the SD) to install the program. The program will automatically check for updates for you.
hope this help.

The function should be in there, no?, unless Bermaz specifically turned it off, which is extremely bad. Shittier still if some Bermaz salesman comes and say it's not suitable for local conditions which is just bull.
*
i had checked 'our version' and ours doesn't come with auto-lock function.

But if I am not wrong, the car will automatically unlock/lock upon impact and detecting an accident.
*
you are right. auto unlock 6 secs after impact according the 'their' user's manual.

Reason being, most factory-standard auto-lock mechanisms only lock after the car has been driven above a certain speed. Imagine if you're cruising around the carpark at a low speed, anyone can just open your car door and pull you out.

got functions to choose from; ie base on speed or shift transmission or depress brake pedal.

This function is quite useful in multi-lane highway:
Smart Turn: To signal a lane change, press the turn signal lever up or down halfway and release. After releasing the lever, the turn signal indicator will flash three times.
