from autoworld...

"Luxury (full spec) S$171.9k - sunroof, 19" rim, gps... (same as ours). Tyre: 225/55R19
Basic S$182.8k - no sunroof, 17" rim, no gps. Tyre: 225/65R17"

May be typo. Luxury SGD182.8k & Basic SGD171.9k.

guys, how to check the seat height??

well, from the overall dimension we could see +- a little compared to CRV and tiguan.

how about the seats height?

tiguan is as low as a sedan car, crv quite high... how about cx5?
*
read from some reviews mentioned that the seat height is halfway between normal suv and sedan. btw the curb height is only 150mm.

Does anyone knows how is the performance of this car?
By looking at the spec sheet, it might b underpowered due to its 1.5 tonne of weight hmm.gif
*
it is indeed under-powered (meaning high-rev to overtake, 2.0l gasoline) but ok for day-to-day used (based on many online reviews).

user review:
"One of my favorite things about it has got to be the gas mileage. Some automakers seems to overrate or liberally rate their EPA mpg ratings; Mazda seems to have gone conservative. Now, I bought the FWD version instead of the AWD version (FWD is rated 26/32). I've been consistently hitting around 32 mpg average for each tank of gas, and this is mixed driving; I figure I could probably hit 35 mpg with a full highway trip."

Anyone have any idea how the 2012 NAP Review will affect CX5??? tax reduction???

http://www.cbt.com.my/2012/05/07/nap-review-2012-a-preview/

Unlike the current NAP, the focus will not be limited to just hybrids, but also conventional internal combustion engines that meets a multi-tiered fuel economy and exhaust emission target. There will be a table with a fixed set of targes, split by vehicle segment and kerb weight, similar to a model currently adopted in Japan.
