I heard that Dr Dave's doberman who won best in show he spent money roughly equivalent to RM100k to import that dog? Have you been to the previous show? There is another Doberman which won best in show, not belongs to Dr Dave, it is belongs to a chinese. Handled by a Chilie handler, but the owner is Malaysian.

I suppose GR is relatively easier to care for, toy group with long furs you will have more work to do. But still, whatever breed you going to own, do sufficient and appropriate research, plan it before you purchase it, then you should have no problem.

True, i think the major consideration to own large breed dogs is the larger appetite, if you were to give good quality food, it might cost you more. While for toy breeds, you do not need a huge compound for them, they can be well suited indoor as well.

But of corse, there should be a consideration of future vet bills, especially when they come to old age.
