what the small bedroom will use for? Reading room, mate bedroom, covert to store room???
Base on that you could define what you need to in place for. |

You have not give enough detail for people to comment. A bedroom can be 100 sqft up to 10,000 sqft.

Size without measurement is subject to person interpretation.

QUOTE(Kingsman @ Apr 4 2012, 09:31 PM) The room is about 200 sqft. I have only 1 lighting point so I need advise on which type of light to use. 200 sqft is not consider small. Some house this is already a Master bedroom. Ah well, my Master bedroom 15% more than your small room. Thanks For me, I have 6 downlight, with 2 x 18 watts per bulb, with 2 switches. Each switch turn 3 downlight. If you want bright, and don't mind the no fashion look, use 2 unit of T5 (4ft), sure bright. If downlight, you need 6 to achieve the same brightness of 2 x T5. For medium, you need 2 unit of T5 (3ft). or 4x downlight with twin bulbs. Since you only have one switch, you can't play around with 1/2 or 1/3 lights switch on. So you really need to decide if you want Added on April 4, 2012, 10:05 pmBed room normally temperature of warm white. If you like real white, than go for cool white. Take into consideration, the height of your room too.
For normal 200sqft room, I think 4x down lights with twin bulbs will do. If there's a fan hook in the centre of the ceiling, u may cut it away and install another light. That's what I do to all my bedrooms. No ceiling fans, but decorative, less glaring light instead. In that way, u can play around with switch. |

Oh please, people. Facepalm.
Get a contemporary hanging frosted glass light, preferably sperical. Them get a 30w light bulb for maximum brightness. Never get downlight for bedrooms. They're the worst. |
