I plan to get my first smartphone, and narrowed down to SGS2.

But, I got very confused on rooting, using different ROM. I want to use the phone for some basic function+take picture/video+surf net, and not going to play games. So, I think stock ROM would be fine for me.

I am planing to get the G version. I would like to know what are the remaining problems/bugs that are not fixed yet using stock ROM?
I read that the clock speed back to 1.2GHz and battery life better than non-G.
Is the phone hanging issue still present?

It would be kind of difficult for me to get a used non-g set cos I have yet to find someone selling their used S2 where I come from.

I kind of not confident in postage for handphone.

Just saw shinro thread, phone + charger + memory card only; I would prefer a complete set.
