Can someone help me to check, those on ICS Rom.

When you are trying to type something, in the text field, you long press on the text field, do you get a menu pop up which allows you to select Input Method to change to other keyboards?

Last time on GB, I can do that.

Currently on Turkbey ICS V3, I can't do that.

Can you do that on your ICS ROM ?

I wonder is it Turkbey or all ICS Roms are the same?

Thanks.

Just received my Dagi 507 stylus, and they gave me a Dagi 301 free...nice rclxms.gif

Downloaded Graffiti for Android to try texting with a stylus, take notes, etc

Now can play Draw Something with a stylus too...

I purchased directly from Dagi website. Cost USD23 with free shipping. I ordered P507 but received free P301 as well. Good deal...USD 23 for 2 stylus!

Fast delivery. Ordered middle last week. Received today...less than a week. Shipment from Taiwan

one of the big reason i finally give in to using ics is the browser.

now that i am on ics, i cant believe i finally install back dolphin browser.

unbelievable, but heres the reason.

stock ics browser. nice and fast, but the prob is, too "slippery", scroll abit and the page move so much. also, cant switch tabs and access bookmarks unless you scroll to top of page. so not user friendly.

chrome, super nice and great ui. but no flash, and worst of all no desktop user agent.

finally tried back dolphin, and boy its just the way i like it. (too bad dont have bookmarks sync with pc chrome)

non of them are perfect, but dolphin suits me best for now.
hope chrome will have desktop UA soon.

You don't like Opera Mobile?

omg! thanks!
i did not know that. the address bar will appear whenever you scroll up.
how could i miss that. thanks for the info.

hm...now the stock browser seems good again. bye bye dolphin. hehehe

On the Stock ICS Browser, I'm experiencing this...can you guys help to check if it is the same on your side?

Use ICS Stock Browser to access this Lowyat SGS2 thread, then try to Add Reply on any post, while you are typing, let's say you want to change something, so you move your blinking cursor to the position you want to amend, right...but I find that the blinking cursor doesn't always go to where I touch it to be...the blinking cursor suka suka go here and go there rclxub.gif

Can help me check please? Thanks

yup realised this too. i guess this is an issue for lowyat forum website developer. the front interface support for mobile devices.
*
Oh, you mean it is Lowyat Forum problem, not the ICS browser....but I think I don't face the same issue using Chrome Beta or Opera Mobile?...let me try again...

That is true but...heck I don't mind since this is the only browser that doesn't give me problem tongue.gif

Nonetheless, could leave with that within an issue...at least for me  biggrin.gif

With Stock ICS Browser, don't you face the problem of the moving cursor while trying to edit text while typing a post in this SGS2 Lowyat Forum?

I tried..still waiting for email....sigh

I guessed they covered this loop hole already....no more free 23GB...

Edit: Anyway, I just realised it might not be legal as XDA already closed the thread of the developer who created that apk...

I believe that is sexy smile.gif I rather have a working smartphone with external battery than a smartphone without battery. Again, my case is different as I travel a lot and would easily burn out of battery.

If you can find a charger nearby always, you can just have a slim and nice phone biggrin.gif
*
Better to buy a Yoobao....it doesn't make your existing SGS2 bulky....you can also use any phone casing you like...and Yoobao can charge other devices like tablets, handheld GPS, etc....

Better investment, I think...

I don't suggest getting it. You can YooBao easily around 149 for a 4400 mah. Original some more.
I bought Original Yoobao 4400maH at RM130 at Digital Mall, PJ.

guys... to those that uses ICS and able to install chrome, can you help by probably making apk backup to chrome and upload it to somewhere. would like to try chrome but i cant get it install. it kept saying cant install in my country device. i already used market unlocker. even with proxy enable still doesnt work
*
The Chrome Beta apk file more than 16MB...but sorry, I don't know how to share it here....

Anyway, I downloaded the apk file online...try googling it...you should be able to find it.....that is what I did...

Edit:Oops...is this consider piracy talk...sorry blush.gif......but Chrome Beta is not a paid app, hence this isn't piracy, right? It's just using it in advance before Google released it to every country?

see this review, the cables are built in.
if wana bring around, you'll be bringing just the small box.

imagine if other chargers.
you need to bring the charger + cables + adapter head.
all these need to put in a small bag and carry around. troublesome.
*
Depends how you look at it. My Yoobao 4400mah is physically smaller than Mili 2000mah yet packed with more juice. The cable is short and negligible. You can charge with Usb port without adapter too but we all know that charging with Usb takes longer time. The Yoobao 4400mah can easily charge SGS2 from 0-100% up to 2 or 2.5.

And it has a few plug in heads so that you can also charge Nokia phones, iphones, mobile GPS unit, etc.....
