I'm using Winamp and the tracks skips a little every track. I tried using the default player and still got the same problem.
Is Poweramp much better? Thanks

Is it true that Samsung will provide u a new imei code if they replace the board?
I just sent my S2 for board replacement a few days ago and my friend told me that the imei code will be changed as well once the board is replaced. My friend said if the imei code is still the same then they did not change the board for u. I've double confirmed the imei code and its still the same as before. Is it true that imei will be replaced after u changed the board?? Does that mean that Samsung did not replace the board as promised?? Thanks |

QUOTE(destEX @ Apr 20 2012, 10:22 PM) my imei is still the same as the one i first got it, i even cross reference with my purchase receipt but i think they did change the motherboard. i remember in xda forums, i read that only samsung has the ability to input imei. Imei is actually stored in the phone as a file in the root section /efs so i'm not surprised if they did managed to replace back the same imei. I see bro, that makes sense. I think I'll call them up tomorrow just to double confirm on another note, the warranty is tied to your imei, and the sticker behind ur phone also has your imei, so its possible that they prefer giving you back the same imei rather than updating the system and replacing the sticker Thanks a lot for the info bro Btw, one more question, those apps in G.Play where it says it's compatible with ur phone. It doesn't really mean that it IS compatible rite. Sorry for the noob question, new to android |
