No need lar. I already flash hydrog3n on CM9 without wiping and everything works as normal.

i recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S2, G version and rooted with a custom kernel.
Now my screen is sometimes flickering, and i want to send it to warranty.
How can i unroot my phone and restore back to factory setting?

1. Is it enough by performing hard reset?
2. If i am using SuperOneClick to unroot, is there any file that i should download?
3. If i update my phone to latest update, is it will be the same as unroot?

which method should i use?

And how do i wipe entire phone?

Check your setting under vlingo if all other setting have been disabled.Had the same problem last time and didnt notice i accidentally turned on driving mode

Btw, still no ICS for malaysia rom?

Three things
- install Titanium Backup and backup all your apps
- install HC KTool app and backup your efs/imei
- do a Nandroid for your phone full backup

Hmmmm... really? I'm not sure about that... but it's always better to flash a newer rom for the bug fixes and stuff that new roms normally have eh?

I'm in no hurry to jump ship. No time to mess around the phone... GB is uber stable anyway... maybe ics seemed smoother in transitions...

Need help here, my S2 9100G juz gave me headache yesterday.

After taken some photos of my colleague, was trying to put on facebook, so i tried to crop before posting. Halfway saving phone freeze. After waited for more than 5 mins, I reboot the phone. I was so disappointed to find all my photos saved in my S2 was gone. Totally gone  . M

My major mistake was I did not backup my photos.

Can anyone help ? Can I use Data Recovery program like Easeus to recover my photos via usb linkage to my S2 (treating S2 as USB device) ?
Should have gotten a 16GB memcard.
