QUOTE(-kytz- @ Apr 19 2012, 09:37 PM) Btw guys, anyone using Celcom? I'm thinking of jumping from Maxis VPI 50 to get their Exec 20 + M.Broadband Lite(1GB) RM38/month... coverage is depend on your location la. but for speed, maxis is better. How's Celcom's coverage (call+3G) compared to Maxis? 1Gb is good enough if you don't download many games or watch videos via utube. why don't you try MAdvance; 3Gb/month for only RM58? if not many browsing or just checking email and FB, 1 Gb is enough for me. QUOTE(-kytz- @ Apr 20 2012, 01:55 AM) I'm living in KL so concern would be this area, PJ and occasionally SJ. maxis is a big NO for ,e. also got a shocking bill before. ensure that you choose any telco along with a data plan. don't use the stupid cheating daily pass. they will charge you kaw2 like i had before.Still a student so around RM5X would be max for me...inclusive of calls and sms. My current plan...Maxis Value Plus Internet 50(100min call, 100sms) for RM50/month has a mediocre 250MB data/month only. Really kennot tahan. So I only need to add RM8 for the Celcom Exec 20+ M.broadband lite RM38/month to have a lot more internet data. What do you guys think? if student, Mlite 1 Gb from celcom is ok. if you only stays in west Malaysia, can check on digi smart plan as well. |

QUOTE(freddy manson @ Apr 20 2012, 06:20 AM) Im from the small town of Tawau in Sabah.. Like i said before, if stays in west malaysia, digi is the best option; cost wise and speed wise. I'm from terengganu but digi reception is not that good at my house. So i choosed celcom. Maxis is a bit expensive to me coz you pay the same as celcom but get lower data usage limit. We have Digi Turbo3G already.. Fast, and stable.. Now im in JB and the speed, i can say that its roughly the same.. Why not u consider Digi Smart Plan (got rm48/ 1gb, rm68/ 3gb, rm98/ 5gb) and the voice/sms/mms/videocall is PAYU.. flat rate to all numbers, 10cent/sms, 15cent/min Plus, u can add 6numbers (digi) as Family & Friends.. |

QUOTE(xxx2299 @ Apr 23 2012, 06:44 PM) I plan to get my first smartphone, and narrowed down to SGS2. wait for S3 mate. the release is just around the corner. if you don't care, just buy the used non G version. its better and less headache compared to g version. But, I got very confused on rooting, using different ROM. I want to use the phone for some basic function+take picture/video+surf net, and not going to play games. So, I think stock ROM would be fine for me. I am planing to get the G version. I would like to know what are the remaining problems/bugs that are not fixed yet using stock ROM? I read that the clock speed back to 1.2GHz and battery life better than non-G. Is the phone hanging issue still present? Thanks in advance. |
