Hi all.... I am a 100% noob and need help. Seeking sifu opinion. My question:
My set up:- Pioneer 7250 HU 1 component set at front(powered by the HU) 2 mid at back+2 tweeter(4 channel amp) 2x12" sub in booth(4 channel amp-share with the mid) Amp-only cap ayam. 1)Is my set up good enough and what is your opinion? 2)If I replace the cap ayam amp with a better amp, will my sound improve? 3)What is the "live period" of a sub woofer. As mine one is about 6 years already. 4)With a budget of RM1k,what can be done for improvement? My fav type of music RnB,Slow rock...
Thank for all your help.

QUOTE(howiechoo @ Apr 3 2012, 06:34 PM) seems like your prev setup is open trunk style.... 1. not a common setup, but if it work for u then it's ok 2. don think so 3. it really depends, some sub can last for 20 years 4. if i would to do something on your car, i would take 1 sub out and use the 4ch amp for front component and 1 sub. rear leave to hu... TQ for your info. I will try to visit your shop and let you see & hear, hopefully by June as I am in Penang now.I am not very satisfied with the sound now. Will my budget of 1K enough or should save for more? Most of the ICE installer here will ask me to change the sub..upgrade the amp....and it is not cheap.I am not a hardcore

[quote=zennn,Apr 4 2012, 11:57 AM] just start by rewiring, thats the cheapest option, use the amp to power the front components instead of the back. I will askthe shop to check and rewiring and get a new amp...if not solve I'll take to see Mr Howie....
