Hi, I got my hire purchase loan approved, but not sign yet. I realized that my car dealer is not trustworthy, i.e. not keep his promise to me. I believe that current dealer earns his commission the moment i sign the hire purchase agreement. so i think it is fine for me to change the dealer (if i can change the dealer).
Question: is it possible to get my approved loan to pay for another car with another dealer?

I believe it's possible if it's pre-approved loan from bank..the car dealer still needs to submit something else along with your pre-approved loan offer..

Tell ur new SA to call the bank officer to arrange, then tell ur old that u dont wanna buy from him already, and plan to transfer the loan. I did the same when i purchase my forte last time.

Yes. You can do that. Like suggested by other forummer, just find a new SA and ask him/her to contact the bank officer. They know what to do with it. Of course, this is under assumption that you going to get the same brand and model of car.

You would need to write a letter with your name, ic number, date, vehicle model, current branch address and request a dealer/branch switching. Dealer don't get their commission after customer signing the agreement, they do only when customer has signed the delivery order.

I means that you looked for a NEW sales agent then ask him/her to call banker. Btw, did you place any booking fees with previous agent? You ought know that you cant get it back if you dont proceed with the deal since the loan application already approved.
