QUOTE(iitadakimas @ Apr 8 2012, 10:41 PM) What??? So I have to bring an AR card with me all the time?? I thought the AR cards are just like mini games. Oh no not the AR cards that was given with the 3DS, they give you a book, and you use the 3DS camera and point it at the book, and the ghost and cutscene and stuff will come out from there, so the book is basically the AR cardPerhaps this video can better explain what I'm trying to say |

I'm excited! But since we live in the future we'll have to wait another day for the game to actually be released in the states, lol

QUOTE(Acher13 @ Apr 21 2012, 01:29 PM) I've tried it and I'm quite impressed with the AR features in it, it has real genuine creepiness when playing it lol , only down side to it is that its really short play time and inferior 3DS camera. If you played Fatal Frame then this is basically the same gameplay (snapping the ghosties) with a new name |

QUOTE(iitadakimas @ Apr 22 2012, 07:56 PM) The whole game itself needs the camera, so yeah, kinda =/ you need to point your camera at certain pages of the book when notified to progress through the story, when fighting against a ghost I had to to spin around since it circles your entire room, but I find that fun lol thing i don't like is still the limitation of the 3ds camera, I wanted to play it at night for the added feel but cuz the camera quality isn't so good its kinda hard to get sufficient lighting, but it works well with natural sunlight |

QUOTE(Acher13 @ Apr 22 2012, 10:15 PM) That's kinda hard to say, I myself enjoy the game and is really impressed with the AR features, but the limitations from the 3ds camera and short gameplay really brought it down. I just think that the dev should have reduced the price a lot more. So you are deciding from either this game or Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove, so I did a lil research on that game and it's a rhythm game. Involves a lot of tapping to the beat and tracing lines on the upper screen and even flicking, much like Rhythm Heaven only with added cute anime characters and unlock able clothing and style with roughly 5 hours of total gameplay. Spirit Camera is a horror game that uses the 3DS camera and AR function to progress through the game. The biggest set back would be the camera and it's 2-3 hour gameplay, once you're done with the game the extra feature just involve taking ghostly picture of your friends and surroundings, or battling ghost from your friend's face (which is kinda cool but I haven't tried it out myself yet) So my recommendation huh... I would recommend you to not buy Spirit Camera, because the price is just too much for what it has to offer, probably you can either get a used copy if you're really interested or borrow it from someone who has it for like 2-3 hours to finish the game lol. But still that is just my opinion, I enjoyed the game and don't regret my decision of getting it. So it still depends on preference. |
