If they offer you permanent post, just go for it.
For fresh grad engineer you can get around 4k++ for basic.

Oh, I went for this interview many years back. Not good bro if you are IT, cuz it's IT helpdesk.
You can take helpdesk as a stepping stone, but don't fantasize about having big dreams, travelling to onsite project etc if you are serious about doing helpdesk job.
Pay so-so only. Find other MNC O&G company. Believe me, it's better out there. smile.gif

Another surprise is that, they didn't tell you that it is a helpdesk position until you go for the last stage interview. Coz in the email and application form, only got IT analyst. Guess they forgot to mention the full name, IT Helpdesk Analyst

I thought official working hours is 8am to 5pm might be different for IT then. Btw Exxon has flexible working hours so don't worry too much of being in the office at 7am everyday

Guys, I applied for one of the vacancy on EM website. In my job application status, the status was changed from "Application received" to "Application under review".

What does that mean? Should I be expecting a call from them very soon?

you probably should get a call soon but then dont hold such high hope during this oil crisis period. just follow the flow. if it is meant to be yours then you will get it. pray hard bro.

I actually applied about a month ago. No idea when they changed the job application status. Tough time ahead for oil and gas. Crossing my fingers now

Anyone know about Exxonmobil and Research and Engineering Company? A headhunter representing ExxonMobil approached me recently about a permanent position.
