Finally this issue has come up.

IMO deposits can NOT be assumed to be non-refundable. This is just the same as assuming all buyers know deposits are non-refundable.
If deposits are non-refundable, have it in black-and-white.
This is to protect those unknowing buyers.

common sense la bro, if u are seller, the same situation happen to u. will u do a refund?
not sellers always help sellers. sometimes use the brain and think from other ppl side.
if 100ppl do this on u, how u going to run ur business? malaysia buyers always take advantage from sellers.
if sellers do the refund, then more buyers will practice the same way.

some stok the sellers need to order first and need to use the deposit to paid the supplier/distributor.
u think the seller can ask the distributor/supplier to refund them if their buyers cancel the order.  smile.gif

U talking to me?
If I were the seller I'd state deposits as non-refundable clearly to avoid these sort of situations.
Don't tell me to use my brain or use common sense.
I'm just saying if you want it to be non-refundable, just state it clearly on your thread. Is this so difficult to do?
Plus you think I've never sold anything here before and simply open my mouth to comment?
No offense but I think you should use your brain instead before asking me to do so.
Of course I know the risks of buyers backing out thus us as sellers asking for deposits.
What I'm merely stating is sellers should enlist the terms down beforehand so unknowing buyers may take note. Simple as that.

PS: If me I also won't wanna refund TS. All I'm stating is that we as sellers take an extra move to avoid such circumstances in future. Cheers
