I got a Canon DSLR 500D which recently not functioning due to the card reader pin. Is there any place to send this camera for repair? Like canon service center?

Plaza Mutiara at Jalan Ipoh. theres a shop to repair faulty camera. just beside DigiColor. i always sent there. pretty good service and reliable. most important. not that expensive like canon center.

I know that canon actually give a period of warranty after their service.

why dont you ask Canon service center to give a quotation first?

if your camera is still under warranty, there's no reason for you to send it to any other place than Canon Service Center.
