badzvino go for quality instead of quantity, build up your system step by step instead of everything at once

2500 will be tough for 2 amps, components, sub and player. maybe 3k-3.5k

i suggest get 4ch amp first and play passive. and look for player with in built 3 way xover, so u can play 3 way active in the future when u buy a sub amp.

advan, look for speaker with big magnet and solid basket, mounting later also must do as rigid as possible, some ppl use steel ring instead of wood, on the door metal not the plastic cover, things like these lah...

cherry eastar:
add a 4ch amp and change all the oem speakers to coaxial speakers, should fit in your budget.

turion64:
sq components start around 700-800 and those are entry level only, so im not sure when u say good means what level of good?

you will also need an amp to make those components sound good, maybe you can save up to 2k for both, or buy comps first amp later.

as for sub, u can add when u get the amp later, so make sure its 4ch, good sq subs start around 500, so advise u to save up to 2.5k to play sq, maybe 3k if include installation and cabling

change the two speakers to 2 way coaxials, and add 6x9 coaxials at the back, should cover it with your budget

peaceboy97 if u can find an installer who knows how to customize vented box accordin to your needs, then yes, if not it could make it sound worse.

Hi Zennn,

So if really go for a custom vented box, for 12" woofer in a saloon car Proton Iswara any idea for the size if I want for a good punching & tight bass.

need to go to installer with enclosure design software, i wouldnt know, thats why i stick to sealed box to be safe
