I've install an Alpine SPR-17S and an alpine amp MRP-F300to my friend satria last 2 weeks...the tweets are awesome but it lacks of mid...ive tried playing with the player and amp eq but still cant get the mid i want...maybe because he still didnt sound proof his door but my car also no soundproof...should i bridge the amp to power up the component??

I see u should do soundproof hehe cause it will increase your mid bass a lot tongue.gif  tongue.gif
Btw what is the power of the amp as those alpine spr need 90watts if I'm not wrong
Btw stock speaker midbass are not true midbass as those speakers are made of papers notworthy.gif that will make it easier to drive tongue.gif

the component need 110rms...but the 4 channel amp only 50rms per channel @4ohm...75rms per channel @ 2ohm....150rms bridged at 4 ohm...should i bridge or not because when in bridge mode i'll be providing extra 40rms to the component?? will it be safe??

i've drop by at ea last 2 week and howie suggest focal ps165 but he didnt hook it up for me to audit it sad.gif anyone here using ps165?? how it perform??

as i reach home from EA and did lil bit of googling bout ps165...i saw the ps165 came with 4 Xover...can i hooked each driver to each channel on a 4 channel amp?? will it hurt the tweeter?? hmm.gif hmm.gif

guys a newbie ICE question:

I've recently upgraded my front components speakers to focal access 165a1. Pretty satisfied with the sound.

my question is, how important is changing the rear speakers?

which of the following would you say has better priority when upgrading ICE:
1. rear speakers
2. AMP
3. Sub

Also if someone could recommend me some sets for these total under 2k would be great.. thanks!

same dilemma as him...upgraded from stock honda city to focal ps165...lovin it...each day spend 1 hour sit in car before came in house doh.gif doh.gif

i have 1k only...i already have rca cable and want to maintain stock HU until all toys install...which way should i go??

1- buy a good amp(2nd hand) to hook up to component or save more for a new unit amp
2- sound proof my two front door
3- save more for sub+mono+custom box made to specification

one more question..as the ps165 has 4 crossover...should i get a 4 channel amp and use each channel for each xover?? do i benefits in any way by doing that?? if no benefit..i'll be on my way hunting for 2 channel amp...if more benefit...i'll hunt for 4 channel...

Newbie here, any recommendation?

- My ride: Myvi 2018
- Prefers SQ/SPL/SQL: SQL
- File format/medium used for my source: spotify?
- Music genre: pop, rock
- Budget: around 1k
- Setup type preferences: no preference intend to change the original speaker set only
- Other requirements (if any): will be using back the original player, just want to change the 4 original speaker and add 2 tweeter if possible
*
if ur car front speaker 4 inch size...this is an option HERE ...this speaker is bright...u maybe dont need tweeter...but if u want to add tweeter then can add this HERE

if ur front is 6.5 inch speaker...this option HERE ...this comes with tweeter but need to check ur car 4inch or 6.5inch for front speaker

for rear u can use this if 6.5inch in ur car HERE

if 6x9 for rear..u can use this HERE
