thank you for the recommendation!  smile.gif  was looking at those models too but hmm probably have to spend a bit more than i expected

definitely will be avoiding those china brands tho  tongue.gif bruce.gif

pricing is high due to our conversion rate. can't expect good price nowadays if ur looking at reputable brands... usually for HU ppl won't go wrong with Pioneer, Kenwood and Alpine. JVC, Blaupunkt, Sony and Clarion is better valued for money, but some don't come with fancy lightings or designs. interface wise also not so cool as well. Not all supports FLAC file too, so u need to check on that as well. thumbsup.gif

another question... if compared to pioneer and kenwood, Sony isnt quite mentioned alot alongside those 2 brands and is not really favoured from the posts that Ive read so far..is there a reason for this or is Sony just regarded as an entry-level type of head unit? Pretty keen on the Sony XAV-V630BT I saw on fasmoto which gives me bluetooth capabilities and plus labour and all the extra installation trim kit, fits my budget of rm1000
*
well i'm not sure on why this is so. It seems like sony is not known for its car audio products. Have not tested Sony audio products before so I can't comment much on the SQ or the interface. From what I heard the Sony's HU interface is not as good as other brands. hmm.gif Very few ppl in this subforum so can't get better advice from sifus over here sweat.gif

Anyone upgrade their Perodua speakers?  How much better can it be even with the thin doors and little padding
*
hmm.gif that totally depends on your needs. Whether you're an avid music lover who focuses on sound reproduction or just a casual listener who is just looking for an upgrade over stock speaker. Budget is also another thing. smile.gif I have upgraded my front speakers for my Pero2 ride. There is no padding on stock doors FYI for Perodua (my ride at least) laugh.gif

- Your ride Proton Inspira 1.8 MT
- Prefer SQ/SPL/SQL ? sound quality should be at least on par if not better than my stock HU
- File format/medium used in your source MP3, CD. I also used bluetooth often
- Genre of music you listen to Rock, Metal, Techno or any song that good to hear and has soul
- Setup type preferences 7inch screen
- Other requirements (if any) Just want to have good value & fair quality HU. Prefers it to come with GPS & if possible, camera (or at least it able to support when i wanna install camera later). And it support my steering switch control. Budget around RM1k to RM1.5k. Not sure if the budget too low or too high. I'm totally noob in this. Ty all sifus

hmm.gif 1-1.5k you can take a look at Pioneer/Kenwood ones. However the ones that come with GPS is gonna increase the budget to almost 2k already notworthy.gif
