im interested of upgrading from currently 512kbps to 4mbps~
which means it is streamyx to streamyx...i supposed im not entitled to get it!
so do you know how to check whether my areas support 4mbps?

interested to upgrade current 1Mbps to 4Mbps Streamyx.

what are the charges for doing so? currently i'm paying RM88+25+tax .. which amounts to ~RM115 anyway.

if upgrade to current BB 140 deal means total is RM140 (including phone line) ??

There's no charges for upgrading to 4.0M.
However, there will be an advance payment of RM 140 in your next bill.
Yup, it's RM140 including phone line per month.
Btw, why not upgrading to unifi instead as there will be one month free subscription for migration case.

Hi, normally upgrading can be done within 3-5 days.
They will send technician to your house because you are entitled to get a new wifi modem and dect phone.

one final question before i confirm to upgrade or not.

is the new wifi modem just part of offer or it is somehow necessary (technically) to use that in order to get to the higher speed connection?

can i just keep the new modem and dect phone and continue using the modem+router config that i have in place now? actually i don't mind even if they didn't give me those 2 items if it is not required to work. my focus is just to get the higher bandwidth.

i actually thought they just had to do some changes to config on their side eg. ports and account.

It's just part of the offer because your contract will be refreshed to 1 year.
So they provide you with new wifi modem and Dect phone.
Of course you can continue using your own modem that you are currently using
