The latest Lean Kernel Exp Builds seem to be not stable at all. Can't even let me finish booting the system. Lol.
Will flash to Liquid Smooth v1.25 ROM again with GPS fix patch and some other stuffs. Hope it's alright.

I've updated my device to 4.0.4 @ Liquid Smooth v1.25 ROM meanwhile.

It's quite stable after I've tinker around with it.

Setup as below...(Signature)

I can't manage to flash the Lean 2.8.0 Exp Build Kernel on it... It simply can't boot after that. FAIL!

Guys, after reading several threads in XDA and some professional reviews...
I found that the Beats Audio is unnecessary, unless, you don't want to or lazy to play with "personal equalizer settings".
Beats Audio is only like a good preset equalizer build-in into your phone only.
Nothing more, nothing less. LOL.

Liquid Smooth v1.25 ROM is based on 4.0.4 Android OS.
It's quite stable IMO. thumbup.gif

Is it? Then I think I might as well as flash to it later... do I need to reflash my kernel? I'm using lean kernel now with m4...
*
@.@!?

After you flash to Liquid Smooth v1.25 ROM, you'll have Lean Kernel v2.8.0 since it comes with it.

Take note, flashing a ROM will automatically update your current kernel to the ROM's build-in kernel(unless, stated).

Alright. I guess that the ICS extras also needs to be flash as well?

Anyway, did you dl the gps fix?
*
The "Extra" is needed.
The GPS Fix is 100% needed, else, your GPS won't work at all.

im sorry but i do not understand on odex :S mind to enlighten me a little bit?
*
Odex and Deodex.
Usually, Custom ROMs are deoxeded because it doesn't want to screw up anything later since we're doing a lot of modifications.
Odex ROMs are usually harder to customization because it has different file alignments compared to Deodexed ROMs.
But, they're much faster due to this.

Yet, recent research show that Deodex have no performance loss against Odex.
The 1st boot, Deodex will be slower than Odexed.
But, after another reboot. They'll be the same.
No point to ODEX.

According to The Verge Review
http://www.theverge.com/2011/11/17/2568348...xy-nexus-review

[Screen has minor issues]
can anyone explain this ? biggrin.gif
*
No problem for that at all.

It's just like how you tweak the display/screen... each person have different preferences!

Autobrightness claimed to be too dark? Who cares?
We don't even need that. LOL. That ain't gonna help you in saving battery also... doh.gif

Color of the Display/Screen can be changed under the Liquid Control for Liquid Smooth ROMs.

In addition, the colors of the screen is also affected by kernel.

springfall is correct about the Color Correction Values for Liquid Smooth v1.25 ROM. nod.gif
But, I've a better configuration myself. tongue.gif

guys,

i'm running on stock 4.0.1 version, android system updates been auto-downloaded to my phone & ready to be installed...should i click "Restart & Install"??? what will happens then?
*
It's recommended to update...
Why?
It fixed:
a.) Speaker Volume(which is extremely LOW on 4.0.1)
b.) Performance boost/Overall smoothness(4.0.1-4.0.3 have minor lagging)
c.) Camera improvement(slightly)
d.) Multi-touch fix
e.) Faster booting time.
f.) Better battery life.
g.) Stronger signals.

Weak, why it's so weak? Because you lack of hatred... LOL. (OMG) tongue.gif

I've flashed over uncountable ROMs(included updates) for my SGS Captivate and Galaxy Nexus. LOL.
Roughly, more than 100 times. thumbup.gif
Flashing is really a good thing which should be practiced time to time. thumbup.gif

custom rom always the best, cater the thing we need only and remove those unnecessary. can forget about stock, custom rom rules.

Yes, we don't need those languages stuffs build-in to the ROM as we can always have an 3rd Party Keyboard which is BETTER and have all the language we needed.

4" Display with Super AMOLED HD(1280x720)!
Quad Core!
1GB RAM!
16/32GB Storage!

AWESOME!!
