Look at the browser performance, you'd think Galaxy Nexus is the one with a quad core processor.

Considering One X just launched, I really don't want to shit on their party, but fact is Galaxy Nexus is still the phone to get.

it is better to wait for a more stable release... as it has just been upgraded to 4.0.4 so there will be a few unknown bugs.

QUOTE(mikeeeee @ Apr 8 2012, 11:50 PM) To power on without using power button actually is already possible Nice setup... I always wondered what apps that you can use so often that it should be placed into the nav bar1) u can use volume key to wake phone 2) u can search for apps that control your screen on or off using proximity sensor such as this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?....smartscreenoff But I guess it will eat some batteries... Hehe this is my nav bar setup now [attachmentid=2780179] Accidental click on that power button will not do anything as I set power button to press and hold hehe However I hope we can actually change the icons in the future...maybe an icon set that fits the theme |

Just want to share a (huge) list of ICS Holo themed apps, check it out and see if you can use any of them
I personally like the Holo theme a lot, so I tend to give them a try. This post has been edited by phantomash: Apr 9 2012, 02:41 PM |

QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Apr 10 2012, 06:05 PM) ICS ROM is supposed to have FULL ICS THEME GUI(aka Holo Theme). Hmm, which part of the OS are the GB theme remaining? But, all current ICS ROM still have some minor GUI haven't been themed(they remained like Gingerbread Theme) to "Holo Theme". Just read the link I show you, you'll know... |

nah... the first page are for beginners, which I think 3 is more than enough...the rest are up to you guys to explore on your own... otherwise there are too many kernels to keep up with
oh yea, just in case I haven't shared this yet, you guys know you can get a battery door laser etched? The price is a bit steep though... fun idea nonetheless. |

QUOTE(Harddisk @ Apr 17 2012, 03:17 PM) I'm beginner also, but I tried my best to follow this thread. Hence so I heard of "lean kernel" and not sure what it does exactly. lol. ok.. maybe I really should update the kernel and rom section a bit... That kind of price, you can buy a smartphone already. I'd love to have Aperture Science logo etched on mine! hmm, only 30usd for listed design, or 45usd for custom design...+5/10usd for shipping I dont think you can buy a smartphone with that price la.. |
