Hi, was looking at a Macy Full leather sofa, just want to know if anyone here has got a good or bad experience with their sofas.

Have seen some comments saying that their cushion will start to sag within a year if regularly used..is this common for other sofas as well?

Well, they do offer 5 years warranty even on the cushioning (with spring inside) but transportation are chargeable for warranty claim.

Would really appreciate some help here ASAP. Thanks!

I've had terrible experience with Macy. Bought one but the cushions started to sag within a few months. There's just two adults using the house. The free throw pillow also went flat. In short, I discourage you to get a Macy's.

so was your's the the normal range leather sofa? Was really tempted with a full leather 2+3 which was going for 3299 at their new store opening in Citta Mall, but got discouraged after hearing about some similar experience like what u mentioned...

Of cos there is 5 yrs warranty, but i dont want to go through the hassle, plus delivery charges are ours every time...

Well, i personally had bed experience too. I had a set of L-sofa, they offer for 3 years warranty, and we also 2 adult using the sofa, 1 day, when we sitting on the sofa, hear a soung (pak) then we feel out sitting lever is lower already, think to call for warranty, but since too bz, not calling in short time, after few days, same thing happen again, then i make a call. They come and repair. that time only 8 months time.

then another 6 months, the same thing come, i call again, they come and fix direct on site. i saw they fix the bring the spring at bottom.

Then 2 months time, happen again. so i call up and ask, can they hv a proper solution? coz everytime send sofa back, i need to sit on floor for at lease 2 weeks. then, talking a lot they tell me a suggestion, they said replace the spring by a pcs of wood, which mean my sofa become no more spring, and sit sofa just like site at a classic wood base sofa.

i ask, if that case, why should i buy your sofa at the 1st place but not just go for those classic sofa? they comment are: coz ur sofa too many problem, if we fix back, same thing also will happen, and they dont hv problem with other sofa, coz they are export quality. Then i said, since u say so, mean may be the spring it self hv problem, just change the whole set of spring to me may solve right? they said need to discuss and call me back.

after a weeks, i called them, the boss is answer, and said (please take note): "I can change the whole set of spring for you, but your warranty is no longer valid. " mean they not willing to repair already even said is 3 year warranty.

then i ask what is the (warranty) meaning, he say that mean u hv problem by sofa, we repair, and he said coz my sofa too many problem, so they sure is me dono how to use sofa coz the sofa hv problem.... from that point, i keep on scolding and angry, that really cheating by saying warranty but actually nothing.

The end story is, they fix it and remain my warranty, but i already very sad with their service already.

This is my case, may not happen to you, but just for refer.

Bought a bed from Macy about 2 years + ago. I can't remember whether it was leather or not.

Recently have noticed peeling of the brown coloured layer on various parts of the bed frame from the headrest to foot rest. While i'm kinda miffed that the bed frame lasted for such a short time but for the RM700+ paid, can't really expect much.

Did i mention that the bed head on one side sways as if a support inside is broken? One things for sure, i'm never buying anything from them again. Rather save up and spend a lil more to get something of better quality.
