Kindly note KR1 owners have already received their VP letter but only to find out parking lot will be charge under maintenance fees, owners were not even inform when making purchase.

Since Rimba is also under Kiara Resources, they may apply the same tactic.

Owners definitely felt cheated and since this is a grey issue, it's very difficult to build a case. We're deciding on the approach to sort out this issue or we have to pay for a year then abolish parking fees after the take over of JMB.

I'll suggest owners of Rimba Residence to check with developer if they are charging parking into maintenance, if no, please ask for black and white.

Bro, I just found out Rimba Residence is solely done by Knox Halim while KR1/2 is a joint venture between Kiara Resources and Knox Halim. As long there is a clarification on car park, there's nothing to worry.

I'm a owner of KR2. KR1 owners just received their VP letters last Monday, I'm also curious on the quality and materials. Give it few weeks then only we can gather more info on quality feedback when owners perform their defective rectification.

I don't think this is applicable to Rimba but best check properly. Owners of KR1 have to pay monthly maintenance for their parking lot base on 0.22 psf on top of their unit build size.

Hi Bro, KR1 already VPed, quality wise is not too bad IMHO, that very much depends on individual's expectation. As of now owners are going through their defective rectification period, have seen mixed review in terms of quality as some are satisfied while a handful complaining of leaking, wall cracks etc.

Given their low entry price, I think it's a fair deal.

I'm a KR2 owner btw, facade for KR2 will be slightly different due to full glass balcony and full height windows for master bedroom, these will give a classy external outlook. Entry price also higher than KR1 therefore we also hope dev will give us quality finishing. We better don't derail the topic meant for Rimba, just check with your dev if they will charge carpark under maintenance.

First they need to make sure maintenance fee based on unit build up can sustain monthly expenditure then owners can vote not to pay for the car park after JMB is form.

KR1 just had their JMB formed 2 weeks ago, if not mistaken they consist of 5 people from developer side and 3 owners in the management team. I did not follow up much as the prop I bought was KR2 which is still under development.
