It depends ..... If you use wifi then i recommend you to use cable .......... if still high ping it depends on what game you play already , there are many proxy or VPN service offer by lowyat forumer to reduce ping to certain game server like WoW and etc .....................

It should be one of the cause , but not confine to only one

wifi is lag friendly... try using LAN cable.

Ask your housemate to stop downloading lol.

which server u played?
if local server like sg also got kicked..sure serious problem.

turn off all downloader especially torrent even u not downloading
try to turn off any adware/firewall software for a while
make sure not other user use ur line for streaming/downloading..thats sucks almost half the bandwith.

if not, either ur cable problem or pc.

Play asian server like in SG ...only get ping of 50-200 with P1max on D* status....still playable just rare occasion it lag bit....I think you shouldn't have problem with wire on wifi..it seem your ISP got problem...

Hmm.. Bet i close to tower of P1 max i think...
i had no problem with P1 Max from that start of the BF3 and i used to play no lag on the Japs server...until lately EA doing something on the server before the patch causing the ping to spike like crazy and that was like 500+ then i stop playing for awhile...after the patch, the ping went back to normal again but i cant play japs server no more...as the ping went up to 150-200++ ...stuck at SG server now...

I got same problem too. At first I,m using wifi then will get drop out from the game. After go buy the wall plug ethernet adaptor. My Ping still too high even choose Asian server. My ping is around 300. Not as smooth as I'm playing on ps3.
