My wife want red color 1.8 but not available yet. Must wait another 1-2 months. Already book more than 6months. LoL.
SA tell me if my wife take white colour, we can take it from showroom this week.

As far that I know there is no discount except change logo for free.

Bro Khusyairi, are you the one driving an Inspira-wannabe too? biggrin.gif

If you are, and you're getting an Elantra for your wife, means we have another thing in common. I booked a Sleek Silver 1.8 in March. Was told the chassis and engine number have been allocated last week. Now waiting for the whole thing to come. rclxub.gif

Pick up is good as well as at mid-speed pick up. NVH is very good except when u press the pedal hard. Gear changing damm smooth, no choking at all when driving fast & changing speeds!
Steering feel is like altis rather than civic, mean u get less feedback from the road.
My HU no sound, will go glenmarie to retify, believe cable loose.

when i test drove the 1.8 at ara damansara...i oso felt the steering was too light...gave the feedback and was told by the technical guy there it was due to the driving profile programmed into the ECU...it can be changed to suit the user...donno if this is true...

I also felt the steering was too light.
Much different from our Inspira wannabe..
Scare little bit to drive and corner fast in Elantra.

thumbup.gif my feeling too bro...I only managed to go up to 110-120 before hitting traffic...but didnt notice the steering getting much tighter...but this car is for the wife...so okaylah...light steering is good oso...if not she might want to borrow my Inspira copy... laugh.gif

on the issue of sluggishness as some shared...i didnt think it was that bad...and i am comparing that to a 2.0 car...i thot it was quite good in fact...the NVH was excellent and dulled the feeling until i looked at the speedo...

read somewhere that some felt the brakes to be grippy...but found that they were alright...gave the SA two frights in my test drive...hahaha...

overall happy with the test drive rclxms.gif

That's what the Public bank officer told me.

I asked him why mine 2.68, other people can get 2.4x ?
He said 2.4x is for those apply 90% loan only.

I got 2.48% from PBB for less than 90% loan...maybe just lucky they took pity on me... sweat.gif

Bank took pity ? That's not gonna happened.

They only hand out the umbrealla when it's a good day. Ask for help during rainy day....you slow slow wait.
Maybe they have better offer recently ? You applied long time ago right ?

Finally found a SA from HQ who told me that this can be done with the s/w similar to Sonata.
I mean auto-lock of course.  thumbup.gif
