Wat comforts me now is that comparing all recent launches, Thai is selling it higher than T&H! Singapore and Taiwan specs even lousier than us. Imagine rear drum brakes...
Thai source (sos): bkkautos.com Sng and Taiwan: go to their official Hyundai sites to compare This post has been edited by 666devil: Apr 12 2012, 09:33 AM |

Yeah. But if similar reviews all over the world, does this mean we are ALL biase? Furthermore, I'm comparing with T as I am driving the same segment.
Btw, go YouTube search for 5 things US don't like about elantra. Of the 5 things, 2 doesn't apply to us |

QUOTE(stevenycs @ Apr 12 2012, 09:57 AM) which two doesn't applies here bro? Damn u r fast. No need to work?i tot all also the same. 1) hard plastic (subjective) 2) wind sound at high speed (r there?) 3) auto up (we have it here) 4) rear view (subjective) 5) boot lock (we don't have that too) Item 5 I remember we have. Must feel it with ur hand, it's a latch hidden beneath the boot door. Only downside is u must have the key with u to open from back, just like smart entry door. |

QUOTE(jusjus88 @ Apr 12 2012, 10:24 PM) just asked my colleague whom is driving hyundai Sonata for about 7 months now (20,000km service) Think u have typo. Major is always 40k, 80k. 30k,60k is semi major due to air cond service. he said the cost is not that much, but also depends if you're going for semi/fully synthetic. if semi 5k, fully 10k. but major service for Sonata can go up to RM800 and major is every 20k elantra should be *slightly* cheaper la, just a heads up As for T, major is rm1k++ |

QUOTE(BuFung @ Apr 12 2012, 10:35 PM) Fark those SC actually... My 6+ yrs old car never service aircond once.... Still work like charm.... Simply wanna charge only.... I heard don't service aircond if no issue. Coz when service they take out the dash board. All noise will start to appear. Anyone know if Hyundai service aircond also need to take out dash board? Just came back from glenmarie. Red otr really not tat nice due to darker red tone, not the chilly red type. Immediately change booking color to sleek silver...

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Apr 16 2012, 01:20 PM) No precedent yet. you asked this question too early. If tat's the case, my altis 2008, 1.8G, bought 118k , now selling 75k, consider good RV?But I think resell value should be better than previous Hyundai models but may not as good as popular Jap models like vios, city, civic, altis |

QUOTE(FluidicSculpture @ Apr 16 2012, 03:26 PM) Unless offered as another trimwith a higher price than the current 1.8, it is very unlikely to have accs upgrade this soon. First batch will end up getting shitty resale value. U mentioned my name?Speaking of the devils, the car has actually arrived. Pls explain how first batch normally get shitty resale value, and how does the 2nd hand dealer know u r driving a first batch car? |
