Kanasai, after spending RM165 to change front brake pad and skim disc.....mid-way travelling to work, the shrilling brake sound comes back albeit softer. That means not brake pad problem anymore. Even after skimming still got noise, change plate?

Anyone has this problem on brake, when brake from cold (ie, starting from house or office, no noise, only after travelling and braking for a while the shrilling noise while braking will appear. Hard brake produced no noise but soft brake before hard brake, tekan sikit will produce the shrilling sharp noise. Not very obvious in car, but very very obvious if wind down windows. If go to extreme and change plate still got problem, all $$$ fly liao... (having doubt now coz skim plate also still got noise, change brake pad also same....what else can cause it?

Had to admit after wind down windows frequently nowadays to check noise, our H-Line PE NVH is actually pretty good.

last time i post about my screeching brake sound, no one reply, lot of spam. i send to SC and change the brakepad. i use the AMP parts which cheap than BOSCH. my last brakepad the steel already came out dont know how to describe but the pad are really thin until my disc touch the indicator steel  , lesson learn, need to replace my brake-pad every 25k km

i feel you bro. I'm having the same PROBLEM. What worst is I'm having the issue even brake from "COLD".
and it's still unsolved until now. the very shrilling noise is annoying 

What i did.

Change brake pad -> still the same
Skim front disc -> still the same
Change rotor -> still the same

So far I never exceeded 3k RPM. VERY VERY hard to tahan you know?!

i use AMP part proton stock RM60 cheap only. but the when braking this pad giving me noise on soft brake but not on hard break.
But not much dust like OEM brake-pad, so far so good.
i no fnf. last time i never change my brake-pad still using OEM till 44k 

i tough brake-pad not including in warranty?

I tot bendix generally kill rotors faster also???

I'm currently using new fbk local brand....don't know what the heck is that but is using ceramic compound and was assured tak makan rotor. Of course that comes at the price of less braking power. Supposedly even less braking strength than our stock pad but after driving for a few days, feels is just same same as stock. Cost me RM90 for that.

Some may say top up to get better pad but thats the problem, I want less noise and less damage on rotors. Better pads (performance) normally do both worse.  Anyway with my h-line abs, feel braking power good enuf for my everyday drive. I won't be climbing hills with PE coz I got City that can do that better if I go on trips.

Haiz....my new pad initially also produced noise EXACTLY like my half used stock pad (feel like a total waste of money coz I change to solve that noise issue). However these couple of days, noise lessen a bit, hopefully the initial noise is caused by the new pad wear in period.

how the stop power by bendix? current AMP brake-pad not much different from sponge feeling from OEM pad
