Torso and hands : Series 7 Hippie
Guitar: Series 7 Rocker girl
Head and hair: One of the ladies from Medieval Market Village, the green dress one.
Legs: Series 7 Red Riding Hood

As for Legoland having cheaper Lego, the people on the Legoland Malaysia facebook page is saying they are 'still finalizing' the prices. I am soooo tempted to troll their page and show prices from the US and even some asian countries in hope they will lower their prices laugh.gif

yup there will be a PaB.
Priced by weight though... was hoping for it to be priced by cup size like the Lego brand stores in US.

In EU, its about EUR8 per 100g.

Rough speculation would be in the range of RM 25 to RM 35 per 100g of bricks
*
Green Grocer's bricks come in at 3.1 kg. So if RM 35 for 100g of bricks it would come up to RM 1000++ rclxub.gif Like this better buy a modular building for parts!!

Yep.. According to the interview with the General Manager.. Our Big Shop could also be one of the largest LEGO outlet in the world..

Check out the article.. Last question in the interview.. About halfway down the page..

I am surprised he used the Brickboy outlet in Gardens for the interview. Maybe a secret teaser that it will become a full ledge Lego shop in the future?

QUOTE(Chaud @ Jul 3 2012, 05:10 PM)
the 50% offer only on selected items for member, member enjoy only 10% on all LEGO products. and 10% only? i go Jusco without paying RM50 also can get 10% discount...not really recommended also  sad.gif

I also got Brickboy card. Only once I buy something using the card since I found alternative cheaper sources for my Lego. In fact the only other time I wanted to buy something with the Brickboy card cannot use because the item is too cheap!! rclxub.gif That time wanted to buy a CMF which costs less than RM 10 laugh.gif

So now the card abit useless at the moment.

Heh, lucky for me I got my friend to send over the lotr sets. I only paid like... RM350ish for Helms Deep and RM250ish for Moria. If you opt to buy in Brick Boy with their discounts, it's actually not TOO bad. Was very surprised at the pricing, with Helms Deep. The US RRP is exactly the same as Jabba's Palace, which costs RM800+ here.

Maybe they have been listening to our complaints  whistling.gif

sweat.gif Wah.. So cheap. Can buy 2 Helm's deep for the price of 1 modular. Does the RM 350 and RM 250 include the shipping too?

Wish I have a friend in the States to buy my Lego.

Now thinking if I should get the LOTR sets now that the pricing is quite ok.

Brickboy today was busy unboxing and stocking up on the latest sets. First time I see so many fresh from the oven Lego sets in 1 go. Got the Town Hall drool.gif R2D2 UCS drool.gif Technic heli and LOTR sets ready to be put on the shelves. But so busy unboxing that they do not have the price list yet!! sweat.gif

If the price of the Town hall was good maybe I would buy it on impulse... sweat.gif

On the other hand the LOTR poison is getting stronger and stronger cry.gif

Be warned, once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny. I now feel like buying the Grand Emporium, I'm sure that will be glorious to build too.

Get the Grand Emporium! It is a great modular! You won't regret it icon_idea.gif

If you have space you can do this brows.gif I have to arrange it on the floor to take this picture though. sweat.gif This Raya long holidays really ought to assemble my other 2 modulars (or 3 if the Town Hall comes soon) and line all 4 (or 5) in a row.

Yesterday I gone to my neighbourhood Speedmart and got small packs LEGO sold there, at the usual retail price. (though Speedmart is known to hv cheaper groceries that other stores).

I guess LEGO company indeed are pulling a tight leash on pricing and no exceptions given. if the retail is 29.90... its gonna be same everywhere . Unless when "poorly" received shelfwarmers (like toy story) been lingering too long, then maybe the major stores/hobby shops are given green light to sell it at a certain (cheaper) price range, perhaps?

Just my observation from stalking for discounted LEGO almost everywhere in klang valley. hehe.
*
To be fair Speedmart is more of a convenience store rather than a store to get discounted Lego. I have seen Lego in Carrefour Mid Valley before at normal pricing. So far that is the only Carrefour I have seen.

Btw, something in response to Ifort's 4 ninjas
