Yes, this time round the popular figures have more in a box according to Whitefang's review in http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=67132

I have already placed order on Bricklink for 2 sets, cheaper.

Have to sell off my spare set of S6 to finance this.......

ALSO, just read that Legoland is opening on Sept15

So,

Unimog was 2011's flagship Technic ?
What's in store for 2012 then ? I don't think the logging truck 9397 is a flagship model as it is lower priced than Unimog, I read somewhere about 9398 Rockcrawler ? That could be the flagship for 2012.

The 9398 is 2012 flagship model with remote control. Expect it to be priced Higher than the unimog.

Only the 8275 bulldozer and 8043 excavator sets has remote control.

Nope, from German seller. I find shipping for minifigures is more reasonable and secured from Germany than US from my experience.

About Euro65 for 2sets shipped and insured/registered. Not much cheaper than local TRU but I had made no less than 8 trips to TRU to collect my 2 sets of S6 and half a dozen of Roman Soldiers. The parking and my fuel guzzler will have cost me well more than RM100 for those trips.
If you buy in bulk (more than 2 boxes), you can get them for about RM450/box all-in but scared kena tax.

most German or Danish seller usually state very clear that they will not lie on the declared amount. So, I usually buy in less than RM500 batch. Tax may not be much but the hassle of kena detained is...again can always get them to ship via DHL who can pay the tax on your behalf.

True. Save alot of hassle. Have to compromise a little sometimes. Beats goin to TRU which only place (besides BBT) selling minifigures and get nothin wanted.
