Anyone can answer my question? Several people answered but it didn't help.

When a family member uses the Unifi line to stream YouTube or download a file, my ping in games will spike up kaw2. WTF doh.gif but in other place when I use Unifi I don't get this problem. Why lahhh?

Bro patienceGNR, when yr family member start stream movie via YouTube or downloading a big file via Torrent,
lots of bandwidth being taken as compare to when you are playing game.

Typically game does not occupy much bandwidth. With that yr game suffer in this case whereby the ping and latency spike.

With no control of bandwidth allocation via the router configuration (if possible), i afraid this will continue to happen.

Also perhaps in other place, less user subscribed to the Unifi? possible?

Is yr Unifi 5MB / 10 MB / 20MB?

Are you using std router or like bro djhenry said, he's using a TP link router which works better with Unifi?
Perhaps you might want to look into the router setting and help narrow down yr problem. Other then that, I not sure whether anybody in yr area are facing the same problem. You could check that one as well.
