after a year of using UNIFI VIP5 with DIR-615, dump the router just 10min ago and go online with my newly brought TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND that comes with V1.8 and wr1043nv1_en_3_13_4_up_110906 firmware inside. the box said "supports unifi", a bit high side on the price but beats traveling all the way to lowyat, got it at rm155.
installation was easy, plug everything in and run 192.168.1.1 and just setup to unifi type and key in undername/password and voila! online and ready to rock. will provide progress of this router after some time use. here is speedtest results:  |
