QUOTE(jolmy @ Mar 30 2012, 11:22 AM) A better way to implement cap, should TM implement in future is to implement only on bandwidth-hungry applications, such as P2P file sharing, say after reaching a certain quota, bandwidth for P2P will be throttled. yeah me sokong 100%Normal HTTP/HTTPS web browsing should be spared from the cap. Even for YouTube videos, cap should NOT be implemented. After all, TM does cache YouTube FLV files on a local server, and this would save on international bandwidth. Added on March 30, 2012, 3:56 pm QUOTE(unknown_2 @ Mar 30 2012, 10:58 AM) download only la. upload no cap. "Download volume 60GB" This post has been edited by amirudin920927: Mar 30 2012, 03:56 PM |

QUOTE(jolmy @ Apr 10 2012, 10:57 AM) My problem was not the HyppTV problem, but rather intermittent packet losses causing Upload Speed to go down to almost zero, and it lasted months. All the UniFi technicians did was to change modem (VDSL2), change port, change slot card at the MDF room of the building, but it never solve the problem yet they closed my report. After being frustrated for months that there is no solution to my problem, and I have at least another neighbor who confirms having the exact same problem as myself, I actually wrote a lengthy letter and send to politicians and posted in LYN, and that was when it was spotted by Rizvan & he contacted me and helped me solve the problem without going through UniFi call centre. Apparently, there is some damage with the fiber uplink hardware at my building. Problem is, the TM UniFi technicians then were not well-trained to deal with much more complicated issues. All they did was to troubleshoot the link between customer premise & MDF room, and not the link from MDF room to TM Exchange. If that is outside their jurisdiction, they should have at least reported it to the higher ups who can deal with this rather than closing the report & mark it resolved! |

QUOTE(rattan @ Apr 21 2012, 10:47 PM) Thanks for the intro bro. Will sort his issues out even though he didnt apply with me u are the best ~ QUOTE(rattan @ Apr 21 2012, 10:47 PM) Torrents speed depends solely on your seeders. It could be the torrent that you are downloading is not having healthy seeders therefore the slow download speed. i sokong 100% !I left house early in the morning and already finished downloading a 60GB file when last I check. Uploaded around 18GB already to other leechers Honestly, I must say. UniFi is FAST. |
