Hi, I wish to subscribe to the Biz20 package, and I'm in an all Mac environment. The router I'm currently using is Apple's Time Capsule (wireless router with a hard disk for backup). I understand that TM will provide their own router, most likely the DIR 615+. I have my data backup on the time capsule and hence I wish to use back this router.

My question is how I can replace TM's supplied router with this router? Any special config I need to know? All the threads I've read deal with home users setup, and since business package doesn't include the IPTV service, I reckon I don't need a VLAN switch or something as a replacement?

Would appreciate an advise and/or addition devices to purchase to make this work. Thanks.

If you plan to replace the Dlink with Time Capsule, make sure it supports PPOE over vlan interface.
The easiest method is to use the wan port on the Time Capsule and connect it to the Dlink lan port.

Time Capsule does not do VLAN tagging. So you need to use the D-link to do vlan untagging , then you may use your time machine to do it

That is what I thought too. That means I can't connect the time capsule on another LAN port of the BTU, but only via the D-link because of VLAN tagging.

Does anyone know which handles DHCP? The BTU or D-link? Currently I have my Aztech modem do DHCP and my time capsule in bridged mode.
