Hello everyone. I experienced Unifi slowdown everyday after 7pm. Speed drops unders 1Mbps =/ Changed router to TL1043ND, it seems the problem still lies within Unifi.
Anyone has the same faith like me?

Sigh, BLack Huawei Modem, TP-Link WR1043ND router, VIP 5 Mbps, but speed below 1Mbps. Segambut area. Power cycling did nothing useful. Totally out of ideas.

QUOTE(Raikkonen @ Jun 23 2012, 06:01 PM) 3 times?
My second time might be tomorrow. Need to save some data first.
Dulu guna Streamyx tak pernah kena malware.
This damn Ramnit, when we clean it with Malwarebytes, it 'kills' our .dll files. Most of our applications got screwed since files are missing. Making the PC slower.
Satisfying > 500kbps with all sort of shite in it as well.
Dafuq~!I login only to reply your doubt. Firstly, Ramnit, or any malware infection is not related to ISP, or Unifi. Firstly, Malwarebytes IP blocking module is inaccurate believe it or not, as a malware from dynamic ip will be flagged forever even it is removed. If you do not understand, read more from Malwarebytes forum. So to your solution, Malwarebytes is not an antivirus application, install either Avast, AVG,MSE,panda or Avira for a full-fledged antivirus against Ramnit or any other malwares. Also, be sure to get your firewall up and running. Hope this clear your doubts.

Well, anyone who experience constant disconnections, slow responding and such, it could most probably due to the router DIR-615. From my own experience, after replacing to another like TP-Link, most if not all my previous issues are resolved, with constant performance and no rebooting needed, running smooth all days and months.
Refer to KLseet.

QUOTE(vyzc @ Jun 29 2012, 03:20 PM) Hi guys, for the TP-Link TL-WR1043ND wireless router, does the firmware "TL-WR1043ND_V1_120210" support UniFi? I can't seem to find any option to enable "UniFi mode" under the WAN settings. Sadly no, only TL-WR1043ND_V1_110906 is able to.

QUOTE(vyzc @ Jun 29 2012, 03:46 PM) Thanks for your reply. Checked with TP-Link support earlier today and they mentioned that the latest firmware in the Malaysian website, i.e. "TL-WR1043ND_V1_120210" supports UniFi. Hence, I skipped 110906 and went straight for 120210. Looks like I have been misinformed! Is it possible for me to downgrade the firmware to 110906? Hehe I tried the latest firmware before contacting CS. And no unifi mode =/ When asked CS, they told me it's not for unifi. So not every CS has the correct info! To downgrade, simply restore to facrtory, and do the same as upgrade!
