QUOTE(yeelong @ Mar 30 2012, 11:46 AM) My house Hypp TV is down. Anyone else having this kind of problem? I am staying in Cheras BTW Sometime that happen but usually not take too much time. The longest i've encountered was 10 minutes at midnight, all media prima channel affected but none from my premium channels.

QUOTE(yeelong @ Mar 30 2012, 05:16 PM) Service restore in ard 4 smth, dunno what happen just all channel gone black only with 1 sat icon with red cross sign. That's normal. They already put notice in the middle of upgrading the service, but never thought it took that long. It happen occasionally, sometime drive me nuts. For example, in the middle of a program (BBC Lifestyle) suddenly it rewind back 5 - 10 minutes earlier like a glitch.

I hope only FashionTV SD, because as you said FashionTV HD is part of the package. No reason for them to include the channel if they gonna pull it a month later. That's my mom favourite channel along with BBC's.

Yesterday, can't connect to HyppTV at all. I woke up at 1 AM to watch Central Affairs II, but wasted my precious sleeping time; 30 minutes spent try to troubleshoot. I thought something wrong with my internet connection, but today all went back to normal. Hopefully today midnight no such problem.

QUOTE(jolmy @ Apr 10 2012, 10:57 AM) My problem was not the HyppTV problem, but rather intermittent packet losses causing Upload Speed to go down to almost zero, and it lasted months. All the UniFi technicians did was to change modem (VDSL2), change port, change slot card at the MDF room of the building, but it never solve the problem yet they closed my report. After being frustrated for months that there is no solution to my problem, and I have at least another neighbor who confirms having the exact same problem as myself, I actually wrote a lengthy letter and send to politicians and posted in LYN, and that was when it was spotted by Rizvan & he contacted me and helped me solve the problem without going through UniFi call centre. Apparently, there is some damage with the fiber uplink hardware at my building. Problem is, the TM UniFi technicians then were not well-trained to deal with much more complicated issues. All they did was to troubleshoot the link between customer premise & MDF room, and not the link from MDF room to TM Exchange. If that is outside their jurisdiction, they should have at least reported it to the higher ups who can deal with this rather than closing the report & mark it resolved! Yes, i learned this during my Uni day. Company usually send their junior technician first, but if they can't troubleshoot the problem they should always report back to higher ups. The company will proceed with more experienced technician. On the other hand, if my theory is correct, Super Speed Me is just package upgrade right? But with no extra charge and first 3 months bill will be charged same as your current package.

I must ask, why when i'm using ISP provided DNS my connection always timed-out and it will refresh few seconds later? This happen quite frequently lately when i'm browsing from page to another page. But the problem seems gone when i'm switching to another DNS. Is this widely known problem, or just on my end?

Sorry , i'm pretty sure already make a quick search "throttle / throttling / bandwidth throttle" before but no result. Since past few days, my internet has been pretty slow. EDIT: Download speed is normal, but browsing / navigate from page to page was very slow.
Maybe in the middle of maintenance since i can't login to the portal few days ago and still can't view my bill under Unifi Customer Portal today, it show: Sorry, we are unable to proceed at the moment. This error could be due to loss of connection to the server, please try again later.
On the other hand, my internet speed seems to be back to normal after i deleted some p2p program which need to be online constantly to receive update. My family and relative also didn't download anything using p2p / torrent software. I'm sure it's coincidence since you already confirmed there's no throttling implemented yet.

I think maybe it's my router. Too congested. 6 - 9 clients on daily basis logged in. Luckily have spare unit TP-Link TD-W8960N, will upgrade soon.

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ May 17 2012, 11:08 PM) Ya... My 841ND also can't handle them well. I'm using two routers, one stock d-link dir615 one 841ND. 841ND as the main, dialer etc while D-link just as another AP and use as print server. Sometimes they fail to connect to 841ND then I let them connect to d-link That's good idea. This drive me crazy, everybody want youtube-ing, streaming, online-gaming, downloading, couple with my cousin and aunty... no wonder the internet is so slow. Even i'm having hard time to browse this forum.

Performance is much better after changing to TP Link TD-W8960N router. Not TM fault, too much user online at home. This is the guide: http://www.klseet.com/index.php?option=com...id=87&Itemid=82

Why not try changing the DNS? Comodo SecureDNS, Open DNS, Google DNS, Norton DNS etc. But if you're concern about your privacy and term of services, i suggest you to try Comodo SecureDNS. Google new privacy policy sounds little bit scary to me.

I don't know why every time my aunty online using her iPad, the internet always become very slow, till the point it lose the connection. It's like her device suck all the bandwidth. She's not downloading anything, just normal browsing.

QUOTE(rockpoper @ Jun 8 2012, 03:42 PM) Damansara Wow, look like on bigger scale. Hopefully they restore it back soon. I never criticize TM before, but i must admit this past 2 weeks their services has been really weird and underwhelming.
