Hi,

ANyone know how can I update my DIR-615 firmware? I see from other website that they have different DIR-615 firmware which has the QoS features. I need that QoS.

Thanks in advance.
*
Not all firmware support VLAN which is required in order to get unifi connected to the cloud.

Ratan, I'm getting new apartment soon, can apply Unifi from you? My current apartment belongs to parents with 1MB stimix. Thinking to apply first and terminate later after Unifi is active, or is there another better way?
*
Can. PM me bro. We discuss there icon_rolleyes.gif

You can choose to get repeater or get a router and use as repeater or get a high power wireless router.
*
Using repeater will be ideal and the best...

Is there a difference in stability if using 5ghz band compared to 2.4ghz. I just bought a smartphone and it shows 5ghz compatible.

Those who are on 5ghz band care to input? Much appreciated.

TQ

Same here. Same area, mine not only slowdown but get constant DC.
Called to CS, and they say they will send someone to make appointment with me in 24 hours..
and it will charge me for RM50 D:

but this constant dc is unbearable sad.gif
Anyone having same problem?
*
There must be some faulty equipment somewhere if the DC is very rampant. Let them come and rectify. Worth paying the RM50 to get it sorted out once for all.

Unifi is like prepaid. Beginning of month you receive bill. You pay for internet usage for coming month and call usage of previous month. Only for very first month, they charge you at the same time you pay for second month.

Example.

1/6/2012 you received email from TM attached with bill. in this bill, you pay for any usage for May and for internet fee for June. Get it?

When you first installed. Maybe 1/6 you installed. Then 1/7 you will receive bill charging you two months. You've already used internet for June. You pay for that. And then you need to pay for July. So you pay double for first month. Then next bill onwards, refer above.
*
I must say... very well explained.
