QUOTE(dares @ Apr 17 2012, 10:42 AM) Then it can't be help I guess. All I can suggest is to wait for the RPM to stabilize after shifting into R, then only press the throttle. For some reason the CVT's R gear is finicky. QUOTE(davidke20 @ Apr 17 2012, 10:54 AM) 1)Idling speed too low wrong petrol? hmm im using shell 95, is this the problem also? 2)Vacuum instability(if there is a vacuum hose, could be leak/disconnected) 3)Wrong petrol(result in retarded ignition) 4)Low combustian pressure. Gasket leak(ever overheat your engine before? Check the rocker cover surrounding see whether greassy or dry) Last thing u can check is whether it makes a different with/without aircond. If without aircond no such problem, then its loosen throttlebody result in vacuum leak. Regardless of your finding, you're advise to go back SC to rectify unless your warranty ady void. |

QUOTE(dares @ Apr 17 2012, 11:09 AM) Someone mentioned the CVT engages a set of planetary gears for R, maybe the gears causes slightly extra load for the engine that the ECU did not account for. thc for the info bro...Just a theory, though. QUOTE(Bobdog118 @ Apr 17 2012, 11:21 AM) I'm also getting this problem when i get my car for the 1st 2 week. But, it only happen once. After that nothing happen but, the R really weird for the Saga FLX compare to previous car i drove. really oic, yeah only the R is weird compare to other cars i drive... |
