QUOTE(koh_424 @ Apr 12 2012, 04:21 PM) @ 50km/h i try pull handbrake, no rasa at all...Drum brake is drum brake, all are same...imagine you lock ur handbrake, when u step throttle the car will move also... What will happen when u lock handbrake during high speed is BURN BRAKE SHOE. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Apr 12 2012, 04:47 PM |

QUOTE(koh_424 @ Apr 12 2012, 04:53 PM) I think u need to do sum adjustment at ur rear drum bro. No rasa is over exaggerated la, My car i pull it will sink at back. Not yet try lock wheel. Actually the car will stop, but need alot of time and distance, and it will not dead lock like front brake. Last time my dad's car rear drum leakage, without drum brake also can stop the car just by using front brake, and can't feel huge different except the pedal is deeper... |

QUOTE(dares @ Apr 12 2012, 04:59 PM) Most brake force during drive (70% I read?) is produced by the front disc brake. Unless you reverse at 80kph, then you'll be in trouble with rear drumbrakes. Yup, thats why i said...I saw someone post (MR_alien, IINM) that one of his drumbrakes is in perfect condition because it never worked Becos when braking, inertia/momentum is to front, hence front brake and front tyre determine the most. His car even park @ slope also will roll down, so rear drum brake got ABS or not is not important at all except disc brake. |

QUOTE(koh_424 @ Apr 12 2012, 05:04 PM) Drifting is an advance driving skill which let u full control ur ride when its lost control under unexpected situation. Thats the main function of ABS, which will not lock the wheel during slippery condition. My fren ask me use to ride to drift when he willing to teach me to do so. But i just feel fedup to try using tis ride. Mayb get sumting better then only learn from him. Added on April 12, 2012, 5:06 pm But my front brake press full also never lock the wheel. Unless the floor is wet then only it will lock. Full press also the brake like not really makan at all. Sumtimes also nearly kena ppl. |

QUOTE(koh_424 @ Apr 12 2012, 05:17 PM) But my old BLM dun come with ABS la. Basically when i do full brake it suppose to jam the front wheel. But honestly i did slide my BLM few times due to wheel lock during rainy day, all of them cos by those stupid driver who suddenly come out from junction. The most serious one should be drift at highway exit corner...normally in dry i drive 80km/h, that day wet i drive 70km/h, suddenly my rear hit little bump, the rear end lost and the car like start wanna spin...luckily manage to hold on by slightly touch the brake, else sure bang the divider... That time i only know Saga is not for human drive one... This post has been edited by coolkwc: Apr 12 2012, 05:26 PM |

QUOTE(koh_424 @ Apr 12 2012, 05:27 PM) Glade to hear tat u safe bro. Actually if u can't lock the wheel during dry, means ur tyre grip is better than ur brake force...not bad to be honest, this can reduce the risk of wheel lock during wet...so no need worry too much one...My next service i will try to flush all the brake fluid & change new brake fluid. Done the front new brake pad but seems not much different. So no choice. If flush also cannot then i really fedup joh. |

QUOTE(zeone @ Apr 12 2012, 08:42 PM) Nope. Those thick bitumen/aluminium coated sheet is for dampening, aka anti-metal-seft-vibration...it have to apply to cover >80% metal area to get the optimum result.Did so for ole ride. Found results not significant & thus not worth $$$ & effort put in sticking those thick bitumen/aluminium coated sheets onto door interior panels. So dun wanna do 4FL now. Anyway, this is for dampening noise generated by vibration, u still have to use sound proof and absorbing material to assist. Of course, $$$... |

Zeone
Saw ur problem. My advise, no need too worry. Happened to me before, with unknown reason. But din died off after started. Just hard to crank, especially recently crank when engine still hot, often happen. My guess maybe battery not really good adi, stock battery 2 years 7 months adi. But cold start no problem at all. So i also feel very confuse. |
