I personally prefer physical game cards for the following reasons:
1) Can see and touch the thingy
2) Can borrow/lend/share/exchange other games with friends
3) Can sell if bored/finished with the game
4) Can jump ship to different region's PSN freely and still have my games
5) No need to spend extras on large (and expensive) memory cards to store digital games
6) No need to download games with slowpoke Streamyx
But there are also advantages by going digital:
1) Some games can be cheaper on PSN
2) Able to buy/download/play once a new game is released, no need to wait for local sellers to import
3) Have all your games conveniently in 1 memory card, no need to swap in/out or bring many game cards with you
Well... These are my reasonings. I guess in the end it is up to your own preferences
I agree to all the above, and have one more to add. The risk of losing all your digital purchases if something (touch wood) happens to your PSN ID. If you are falsely accused of cheating, or doing something that states you've broken the terms of agreement and you're banned, the loss of those digital purchases would be a terrible thing. Hundreds of dollars down the drain because your so called "ownership" of that media is based on a set of rules that you have to follow. 1) Can see and touch the thingy
