It has come to our attention that there are many of our members who are using email accounts that no longer exist (inactive deleted) or full (over quota).

Please take note that if you are using our email notification/update/digest features, and emails sent to your account is bounced back to us, we will proceed to delete your account as the number of bounced mails are in excess of 4000 a day and a lot of mail providers are increasing the spam rating of the @lowyat.net domain.

To those who PM'ed me, the notice above appears to every forum member as a global notice, not specifically to you. If you think your account is fine and dandy then just ignore it. We will only delete accounts that we receive mail back from with "account not found/account no longer exist" headers.

We will remove your account based on bounced mail, as our servers churn send out close to 5000 emails a day, and we receive back around 300-400 from invalid accounts.
