actually.. ramired should be the one we need to give compliment, without the goal of Torres, we still won to Final.

of course cant deny that if Torres din scored that, Barce might fired all their bullets for last couple minutes and we might lost after..

but.. Overall, Ramires and Torres goals are worth the same weight~

Torres goal was a classic example of counter-attacking football. When your opponent least expect it, with most of their players upfront attacking, then the lone striker Strikes!

Because we are football fans, we dont bash blindly just because they are our rival. Lets not mention how many times we conceded on counter attack during AVB high defense lines. You find it naive mistake why BARCA defender let TORRES so far behind them because u only watch the highlight. Is not like BARCA defender let TORRES stand behind them for 5minutes, it happen quite fast and that time we are not actually playing counter, we are ultra defensive, nobody is up front, TORRES was at left back position, is more like hold the ball or clear it up to waste time, thus explain why BARCA defender was so high up beyond half way line. What happen is we manage to get the ball in the box, TORRES was running for counter from left back position, but we lose the ball again thus BARCA defender does not bother to track TORRES run, they then do a quick shot into the box that was block and clear by A.COLE but that time TORRES was already behind BARCA defense due to earlier run. Well is 90min is either score or lose for them, is same concept when GK go up for set pieces, a big risk any team will take.
They might not be the best defender but they are successful judge by the trophy they have won, defender might be their weakest link but base on BARCA play style, they are content with it because most of times they are holding the possession.
Agree, it also put a reality check to those that think RM and BARCA are miles apart compare to others teams. But undeniable this season spanish league look stronger because they have 5 team reaching UEFA competition semifinal. English league are still top in UEFA ranking because of the number of english team consistency in reaching far in knockout stage in the past few season.

i have to say torres's first touch was brilliant to take him towards goal..not too soft to give the barca defenders a chance to track back, nor too hard that would entice valdes to sprint out of his goal line. however, the fact that he had acres of space in front of him certainly helped. 

anybody know how many times he glanced at the linesmen to make sure he wasn't offside? the way he just jogged towards goal was surreal 

p . s: madrid's loss to bayern certainly puts things into perspective for diehard JM fans. if it happened to us, our main reason would be a lack of depth ( and not to mention quality) in our squad which is difficult to argue against. with madrid's star studded and big group of players, don't u guys think he should've won?
