This time we are really lucky tat the referee and linesman error are helping us...an offside goal from Ivanovic, and a late winner from Mata. IMO, Iva is gonna get Player's Player of the Year while Mata will get Fan's Player of the Year. I've already casted my vote to Mata

ESPNStar rating on chelsea vs wigan players
Raul Meireles - 5.5 Probably one of Chelsea's worst purchases, second to Torres. Did not create much chances and could not keep possession for the team. Daniel Sturridge - 5.5 His finishing abandoned him in this game. For the first time there was another player on the pitch worst than Torres. Still wanna be so harsh on Torres? Stupid media |

apparently el clasico is being brought forward... at the moment, no matter how good we are doing in champions league, obviously barca are still the favourites to go into final.. yet they still get so many advantages. sigh |

It's our 3rd game in 6 days time, don't expect the players to play 100% even there is squad rotation... even our Mata who played so well during the first half of the season, now he is also struggling (lost the ball easily, sometimes passed the ball to opponent). Another good example is City's David Silva.. Hopefully this coming 6 days break (before spurs game) will give the lads more time to rest
I still think we are able to finish above spurs...but the problem now is on-form Newcastle This post has been edited by masterpoloking: Apr 10 2012, 04:34 PM |

QUOTE(acam2812 @ Apr 12 2012, 01:56 AM) i stumble on this and who do u think should be release and keep for next season pretty much of a nonsense to me, releasing so many players at one transfer window. who's gonna be there when the team is having injury crisis throughout the season ? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « anyway...what a nice kit for next season. I'm gonna buy Mata's jersey for sure |

FA knows how important he is for the two games against barcelona...thus giving him 3 match rest for domestic games.............

What a great win ! Fortunately we scored 5 goals to compensate for that 2nd goal that was not supposed to be counted...oh well, Atkinson is a true blue
The only negative i see from this match is Luiz's injury...we need him badly for the next 3 matches especially against barcelona... i personally think that he is more suited to face barca rather than cahill |

I personally think that it doesnt crossed the line, even after the picture circulating around the internet this morning showed that it does MAYBE crossed the line..but one thing for sure, if u're standing at Mata and Atkinson's position, it is not surprising that Mata celebrated and Atkinson has awarded that goal..
I find it funny that we got blasted because of the 2nd goal that we are awarded with...saw lots of comments on facebook saying things like chelsea hv to cheat and win this way, chelsea shud feel ashamed being awarded a goal like that, chelsea shud feel ashamed that they hv to win this way etc etc... so what you what the players to do when they are awarded with this goal ? run to the ref and said 'pls ref, it is not a goal. pls dun award us with this goal. we feel shame' ? so what you want them to do when they won in the end ? run to the ref and said 'pls ref, we won because u awarded us this 2nd goal which is not supposed to. pls ref, let tottenham play at the final instead of us. pls ref, we are not going to the final and play' funny |

QUOTE(mr_hahn_nemo @ Apr 16 2012, 12:44 PM) lol stupid kops blaming chelsea win cause of ref decision.. always wanna win over a fight.. no! i'll be liverpool haters no matter what except when bro, i understand ur feeling but pls dont generalized all of them based on only these 2 ppl...minute of silence.. i'm not gonna boo over hundreds of life! ASHAMED. 2 of my closest liverpool fans keeps trolling mocking me over choosing chelsea as my club.. don't know what they problem are.. they make me hate liverpool rather than the other clubs! there will always be bad apples among the fans but they don't represent the whole world's fans... |

people will say spurs's fighting spirit is torn after the 2nd goal, they go all out to attack, thus leading to poorer defence, thus conceding the other 3 goals. i truly understand that, coz that is exactly how i feel when lampard's goal in world cup against germany is disallowed though it clearly crossed the line...and england went on to lose 4-1. i had argued the same point too - the game would have been different if it is 2-2 at half time.. but clearly, germany are the better team for the whole game and i gave them credit for being the more deserved winner in the end

who cares about our negative play... results are all that matters. if chelsea become europe champions this season by playing these so call 'negative' play, by all means, i would be happy to accept this. ok i'm dreaming quite far now, still got 2nd leg to play at nou camp. hope we can score an away goal first.

inter had 2 goals advantage when they visit nou camp...even with the plane parking, they still conceded one goal. we only had one goal advantage, quite difficult to make the game to be 0-0...so at least must score an away goal first!
