bertrand is ok. he's all right. i think we got a decent cover for ashley cole at left back. so, barca lose two matches in a row? that's unusual. messi on a mini goal drought? 180 minutes without a goal. it's gonna be 270 minutes by the end of tuesday night. hehe... smile.gif

Didn’t really play like we wanted to be in the CL next season..sigh. the majority of the players weren’t involved in midweek (8 changes as the commentator mentioned) so they don’t have any excuse. The only two outstanding performers were Bertrand and cech who were both flawless. Ryan seems to be the closest to breaking into the first team, and I hope when the time comes Ashley steps aside gracefully. One of the most disappointing performers out there was danny. Very upset with how he just jumped out of the way practically 5 seconds before koscielny’s ‘flying kick’ came in, late in the match. Any player with a bit more courage would’ve taken a touch, get clattered and awarded a clear pen. If we end up outside of the top four, can’t say the teams above us don’t deserve it because let’s be honest, we surely don’t.

And I thought I was the only one who had this thought. When watching the replay of that incident, he knew he was going to get a Chuck Norris's Roundhouse kick, and quickly responded by jumping up high to avoid the tackle (which was the right thing to do).

But like Kerpy had mentioned, I think it was worth a touch for a penalty because if he blocked the ball, their defender will definitely going to whack his shiny little ass.

But yea, what's done is done. And let's move along.

lol... seriously? What had the world of football became now. Instead of skills and techniques, now fans are asking for their player to suffer damage or injuries in order to get a goal, endurance and vitality is now an issue. doh.gif

Ability to outwit is also part of a professional football. I don't think Kerplunk wanted Sturridge to risk his injury proneness, no one ever wanted that lol. Anyway I'm not going to get bashed by arguing about this.

Let's move on smile.gif

Mate did u even watch how studge performed the whole match? Practically non-existent tracking back, gave away the ball countless times and i can’t even recall a single useful cross. The least he could do is shield the ball as koscielny was flying in, and earn a deserved pen. Oh yes koscielny’s challenge was worthy of a 4 game ban btw, if he made contact. But i didn’t say studge would get injured as a result, although the possibility was there. JT, didier and even torres would’ve had more guts in that situation, frankly speaking.

well i agree with kerp but torres's performance aint much as well.
he shouldve scored during the first 20 mins, and kalou too but they wanted a comfortable space to shoot instead of trying first time shot.

and all these talks about roman wanting back jose is so wrong!
i love the special one and i do want him back, but during this time i personally prefer di matteo as our manager.

New kit going to ship on the 10th, if I remember correctly. Already ordered it and wait for it to come by mid May!

Wasn't my kind of football but Chelsea defended well against arguably the best attacking side in the world last week to win 1-0.
