Hi guys, currently I'm participating in a Lego contest using NXT 9797 set.

But we are supposed to build everything from scratch on competition day, any software to safe the design?

Thanks

It's just a secondary school competition. Racing with our preprogrammed lego across the circuit.

Ok guys, I just joined the National Robotics Competition 2007 - LEGO NXT and RCX at Stadium Melawati, got 25th place out of 75, if not for my 1 cm mistake, I could have got first for sure !

There are few categories, the Robot Discoverer ( fastest through the circuit ), Robot Transporter ( transport a can by following the black lines which are designed to confuse the robot ), Robot Bulldozer ( program the robot to move through the circuit through a series of confusing black lines, the robots must be programmed to follow the blacklines ) and the open category.

For robot discoverer, the fastest in KL was 14 seconds, i could have done 7 secs if not for a slight mistake, regret, regret sad.gif

So I shall let the pictures do the talking

Today i went to the National Robotics Competition 2007 in Stadium Titiwangsa and it was an amazing experience  thumbup.gif

There are at least over 140 Mindstorms robots laying on the tables. Over 160 teams took part in that competition.

Hey kar hoe i was there too  smile.gif

Haha, nop, but I was E11, what about you?

What's your age then? Because the only non students I see over there are the referees, and an uncle carrying digicam around, are you that 'uncle' ?

We use timing biggrin.gif , sort of cheating, but then, its more on luck, because my programming is based on rotations
