any bionicle fans here? I've searched for a separate thread but apparently it was under lego. I've just warming up to them. Their price is quite nice too compared to other action figs...

Ooh, I have about 30+ sets of BIONICLE. I used to love them and I used to collect, but then I stopped. These are really great sets/actionfigures, they are cheap and just plain awesome!
*
mind asking why? the new glatorian sets are drool.gif. I'm eyeing TUMA, and that skopiox vehicle if have the cash cry.gif.
I first look at at Bionicles when they were 1st came out 10 years ago. Back then they just doesn't look that good with few pieces only but now... Bionicle looks like a good alternatives if not better than transformers. I'm getting sick of TF price hike every 6months and scalpers attitude mad.gif .

Lol, I left BIONICLE for Gundam and now I collect Transformers.
I like everything, so I had to limit myself and just collect one or two toy lines, hehe.

Besides their toys, BIONICLE is great-awesome (some Le talk here hehe) for their storyline, albeit not catching up with it makes you damn confused -I know I am-.

that's one slight minor hindrance to BIONICLE. Coming from transformers, the names and stories are straightforwards but reading the BIONICLE story rclxub.gif. It's like reading an established science fiction with hard to remember names like Star Trek or Battlestar universe. Other than that, the toys does look SWEET!!! rclxm9.gif

All Legos there are in mint condition unlike some other toys with crumpled box, etc. During my two hours there I saw the staff restocking 2 full trolleys of Star Wars and Agents. The 8295 are the only Technics available. I hope they don't stock anymore Technics, wait till next sale lah...abis duit aku...

hey, im an avid BIONICLE collector. since it first came out i have been buying em. but Bionicle is gonna end on 2010 so don't bother buying em coz only the story will continue but bot the figurines. I was like whatever man my life wasted so far, why not ask a girl out. if she rejects me, my life can't suck any further.
*
There's a reason LEGO continued bionicle story. Perhaps as a backup plan to resurrect them like they did with lego Space. Anyways I would still collect them as there were many awesome past lego sets that I haven't got yet. Better yet now at discount!

I can't find my older sets anymore, all mixed up in one big box. I really loved the Alien and Ninja sets.

Now I only collect Bionicle. (more of my budget)
*
Bro, you should really re-consider that. I collect Bionicle, the socket parts break faaar too easily cry.gif. Even using customer service would not cut it. The parts would break every. single. time. As of now I got around 20 broken / cracked sockets. It'd breaks even you just took apart and re-assemble it. Can't MOC much.

As LEGO Ben10, highly recommend thumbup.gif. My kids threw it around most of the time for the last 6 months and still none broke, not even a single piece. Heard people say the new Hero Factory line is also tough. Perhaps you should start from there. New heroes for next year would even be better!

Any idea what they have for sale there? it'd be nice to know cause its so far away hehe

Ben 10, Duplo sets, Power Miners, Atlantis, Space Police, City Construction. Not much choices. Bangsar Village II provided more selections but others were at mere 10%.

Well, it is certainly true that there are far lesser people who are interested and willing to spend on Lego compared to other toys like 1/6 figures, action figures (Figmas, Revo, etc.) and Gundams. But it's also true that retail prices for Lego here are insane. That alone throws a lot of people off since they don't see how plastic bricks can be of a higher cost than a fully articulated 12-inch figure.
*
well at the price it comes with the quality and also warranty. Which other toy company willing to replace broken or even missing parts for free!

Early morning there were two gentlemen rushin in and start picit2 and scanning the minifigures. One tall dude and another one is plum with very short greyish hair...in their 30s. Looklike gangster so no take pic.

Shortly after the fat one left...others join in the fray.

All happily picit2 and reconfirming their scans for at least an hour.

They look at many ppl in the eyes sending a message..."THIS IS MY SPARTA!!" rclxms.gif
*
An hour! these guys are noobs. I picit2 and get 3 of my figures in under 30 minutes, without cheat code. Btw, I was there yesterday around 3 pm, managed to feel one Sparta. I put it back on the leftest column.

Minifig collectors, you guys need to chillax. The scalpers here are not as bad as imagined if so almost non-existence I think. More of a paranoia that what's in real life. I easily get the minifigs I want like elf, fisherman, sparta even after many people picit2 the box.

If you want to see the true monstrisity face of scalpers, try collecting Hot Wheels T-Hunts or Transformers few years back. Those are truly ugly.

I think exo-force was discontinued on year 2008 because the second release fail big time. But the third release were good. I got some set for sale though but is used.  tongue.gif

I still got extra magician from series 1, you want?  smile.gif
*
Exo-force sets are a gem to keep aesthetically wise but for playability, they are very fragile. they could easily fall apart when handled. Got mine L shape part broke just from small fall sweat.gif

TLG still made some mechs here and there but in a different series like Power Miners, Atlantis and Agents.

Does the weakening of USD means we will get cheaper Lego sets?
