QUOTE(paanjang16 @ Mar 7 2010, 12:44 AM) 8258 is very difficult to find nowadays and I have not seen it anywhere. Not sure if distro or brickboy will bring in any new sets. End of March is a little rush for us.. anyway can you give us more info about it? I have also seen that you have posted a similar post on Bricksmal. it is actually a college event, creative week to bring in more creative ppl and show the creativeness. we have bout 14 booths to showcase on different categories of art like henna art, origami, architecture, soap sculpting etc. and now im looking for the category of Lego if i cou;d get any. it is a 2 days event. i know that legos can come out with many many design and that is apart of the creativity. therefore i would like to look for anyone that is interested to join in this activity. on that day, you may present some of the collections. please let me know if anyone here is interested. thanks

QUOTE(alanyuppie @ Mar 7 2010, 02:33 PM) Hmm... I'm very interested (click my signature to see my LEGO creations) but need a few questions answered: 1) I assume for origami, the "expert" origamist needs to be there to show off his/her skills in folding ? For LEGO, do I need to be there to "play" LEGO in front of the visitors (which I'd say is a bit... awkward!) 2) If I am not required to be there, will the event staff/volunteers take their utmost care in ensuring my creations in safe/good condition ? 3) What is the allocated "booth" size for each participant? To avoid mishandling/itchy hands, LEGO creations needs to be displayed in a transparent display case too. Do we provided any? Fellow LEGO-ians there. Maybe we can group together and put up one ultimate exhibition for them? Great!! thanks for paying such a great interest in to it. ill ask my event chairperson to contact is it alright?? she is the one who in charge in everything. she will be able to answers all your ques. and anyone who is interested in this event pls let me know tq.
